Umeya Annex is a Japanese private home run by an oshi, or a religious teacher that guides and assists visitors on pilgrimages. The property is located next to the oshi's home that was built in 1776 and the only one existing in Kawaguchiko. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Very cosy and authentic place! The host is warm and helpful. The area is perfect for outdoor activities as well as calm time. We came to escape the hustle of Tokyo and had total recharge. You can explore Forest Music Museum, go hiking or ride bike around the lake. Highly recommended! P.S. the best part was waking up with Mt.Fuji view :)

Luggage storage is offered free of charge. Sayuri proved to be an exceptionally gracious and knowledgeable host, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. From providing transportation to reserving and covering the cost of seats (until we could immediately reimburse her), her generosity was truly remarkable. Our exploration of the nearby surroundings on the complimentary bicycles was enhanced by their excellent condition, overcoming any initial hesitation I had. This experience became a precious opportunity to connect with our children in a relaxed manner. Our stay was nothing short of delightful, prompting us to plan a return in September. The captivating view from our bedroom balconies only added to the charm, as captured in the photos we highly recommend checking out. Despite not sticking to our initial plans due to the sheer enjoyment of our stay, our two days were incredibly relaxing. Sleeping in late was a testament to the comfort and pleasure we found during our time there. A short stroll to the Chureito Pagoda and a bike ride to Yamanashi provided additional memorable moments, contributing to an overall wonderful experience.

The cosy Country Inn Orchard House features a living room with a fireplace, free Wi-Fi and home-made Western meals featuring herbs. This is a non-smoking property offering rooms with a private bathroom, a 15-minute walk from JR Kiyosato Station. The hospitality was top-notch. The host was super earnest and really took the effort to make us feel comfortable and totally at home. We were wowed by such warm hospitality. We also enjoyed the food and clean family baths.

At the country house, every unit has a desk. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. At the country house, each unit has bed linen and towels. The place is really near to the train station. Even we use the taxi, the fare is still cheaper than using the bus. There's also convenience store and mosque nearby which is really great for tourists especially for muslim. Not to forget, you can just walk about 5 minutes to reach Kawaguchi Lake which is also have its own attraction.
