Beautiful nature, close to the sky. Mrs Celine, the owner, was very kind and nice person. We spent there a week and if it would be possible we stay longer or return again.

This quiet and tranquil property surrounded by nature is a 20-minute drive from Madeira International Airport and the city of Funchal is a 10-minute drive away. From Quinta das Faias, guests can reach any point on the island within a 1-hour drive. It was wonderful. The place was clean, we had a everything we nedeed for 7 days. The yard is so beautiful. The house has a history and it is a objectiv by itself. You will not regret if you choose to stay here. We had private space and time for relax. It is a parking lot for yourself. It is a perfect place for 2 couples. Filipe, the owner, is ready with all the information that you need. It is a supermarket at 500 m. and a traditional restaurant.

All units are serviced twice a week and include a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, making Valleparaizo the ideal getaway. Breakfast is available upon request and at an additional cost. Lovely place -really tranquil and peaceful. Cottages are very quaint and welcoming - we had a lovely stay. Beautiful trees and gardens surrounding the area. It's further out from Funchal but there's a bus stop just outside that goes straight to the city centre (takes about 20mins) and the bus ride itself has fantastic views. We picked up our rental car after a day or two and had no problems driving back and parking at the property. Our host was fantastic and helped reunite me with my dress after I left it behind in the wardrobe!

The host is super kind and generous - he gave us excellent tips on what to do in the region and where to eat (both restaurant recommendations were epic!), welcomed us in person although we arrived around midnight, had a friendly chat with us and gave us fruit and vegetables from his garden. The location of the property was perfect for our needs (relatively close to the airport and some points of interest), there’s a miradouro perfect to watch the sunset 5min away from the property. Sunrise is seen from the balcony - amazing! The property itself has everything one may need for a comfortable stay, including washing and cooking facilities, a coffee machine, etc.

Every unit is equipped with a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, while certain rooms come with a fully equipped kitchenette. All units have bed linen. Santana's traditional houses is 31 km from the apartment, while Palheiro Gardens is 4.7 km from the property. The nearest airport is Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport, 11 km from Casa de Campo. Clean, spacy, modern apartment on a silent location with amazing view to the ocean and gardens, like on the photos. Fully separated house with two rooms, a complete top floor. Equipped with all necessary devices, even a washing machine, microwave, boiling kettle, which are not common at such apartments. Really comfortable double bed, excellent wifi connection. There is no private parking, but we could always find a place at the nearest street. Very steep road, so parking needs experienced driver! Good location to explore the whole island, a few minutes from the motorway and airport. Don't expect perfect beaches for swimming, but this is true for whole Madeira. Arrival was not as difficult as someone described, we had to pass a corridor which can be seen on one of the Booking photos. At the end of the corridor there is an open gate. If you inform the owners about arrival time, they will watch you in order to help. After checkin we didnt't meet the hosts any more, even not at checkout. But not everybody needs contact.
