This was certainly the nicest room we had on our entire trip. Large and cosy with a wonderful view of the lake.
We were able to pay for the room by credit card as normal.
Because withdrawing money did not work at any of the three ATMs in Copacabana. ( MasterCard )

We were greeted with the friendliest staff. They quickly upgraded us to the third story of the beautiful waterfront property so our views perfect water views.
One night we needed to stay in and with our limited Spanish then host was happy to order us food to our hotel for dinner.
The bed was huge and very comfortable
The next morning we woke up to a beautiful generous breakfast spread all for us also with waterfront views.
The hotel was a short walk out of town along the water but worth it for the peaceful views
José was amazing
And the alpacas were a fun addition

Beautiful room with amazing views of the lake.
The hotel owner was very kind and considerate when struggling with the altitude, allowing us to check out later.
Excellent restaurant, excellent value for money.
Two very cute alpacas in the surrounding gardens with hammocks to relax.
Extremely close to the town centre and lake front.

A delightfully quirky hostal, with a lovely ambiance. Our terrace overlooked Lake Titicaca and our room very comfortable and well appointed. Tea and kettle in the room was welcome. Staff were very helpful and their taxi service was very convenient. Breakfast was well presented and a good choice of dishes. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

The town is a good stop between La Paz and Peru but is nice enough itself with good access to walks and Isla del Sol etc.
Really worth visiting the various Inca sites in town and around, including Inca Baths just outside, with its little museum and mummified body.
If you stay on Isla del Sol beware the slope up from Yumani harbour to the town, it is almost vertical.

Copacabana is a small town, not accessible by plane.
Copacabana is a small town, not accessible by plane. It has a nice feel, although there are lots of people who work for tourist companies and restaurants who will approach you to try to get you to use their services. They're friendly and not aggressive.
Our day trip to Isla del Sol was nice. We hiked to the temple and had wonderful views. On the boat returning to Copacabana we made a detour to a sort of makeshift restaurant. We were told we'd be there for 50 minutes. What most people did was choose a trout from the pools that were netted off from the lake, and it was prepared for lunch. The trout was the best I've had, but it was strange not to know we'd be going there.
I wanted to go to the Poncho Museum but couldn't find it. A local told me where she thought it was, but there was no sign indicating it was there. After wandering around town a bit, I stopped in at the Pit Stop Bakery, which had delicious baked goods, and good coffee.

Quite a vibrant place with lots to do and see.
Quite a vibrant place with lots to do and see. Take a walk up the Calvary to the crosses at the stop. Also Isla del Sol is a nice day out with a walk across the island. It took us about 3.5 - 4hrs to do. Male sure you have water.
Church / cathedral was lovely but strangely they dont allow you to take photos.
Yiikes forgot to say load up on trout whislt in Copa it was lovely.

Overrated town with little character.
Overrated town with little character. One big tourist trap with no diversity in activities or food. Dirty and unkept. Locals clearly don't value cleanliness.... Trash filled the streets. One day was too long to spend here.

It was busy while we were there, as it was the holiday weekend. It’s a nice town with a beatific cathedral. We visited a Isla Del Sol for one night which was amazing. Overall, 2-3 nights in Copacabana is more than sufficient.

This is probably Bolivia’s most underrated destination.
This is probably Bolivia’s most underrated destination. Mediterranean who?! The views here are stunning. Hikes at Isla del Sol, Cerro El Calvario, and Horca del Inca provided the most spectacular overlooks of the city. Worth the miles we walked and being out of breath!
We had an incredible stay here! The breakfast was outstanding and the host (Henry) and his family are so friendly, accommodating, and made us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. Whilst the place is located a little out of the centre, the view from our room was breathtaking. The bed was comfy and room was a great size. We also ate at the hotel restaurant for two nights and the food was so good! Highly recommend this place!
Amazing hotel. I stayed twice in two different rooms. Beautiful and clean rooms, nice bathrooms, comfy beds, good sized rooms. The family that runs it are super nice and will help with whatever you need. The location is so central ... easy to stop in while wandering the town. The breakfast is delicious! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in copacabana.
The smile of the friendly staff is the first thing I’ve noticed and felt. Rooms are nice and well fitted but the there are two thing that really stands out:
- cleanliness and appearance of the location, in total contrast with what you found in the area.
- restaurant - the quality and variate food is amazing and definitely not expected in the area of Copacabana.
- nice property overlooking the Copacabana coast, lovely garden with sitting area
- owner was lovely, she spoke limited English but tried her best & gave us a free bottle of water on arrival
- held our bags for 2 nights when we visited isla del sol
- hot shower
- comfy bed and pillows
What an amazing place! . On the edge of town but still close to the main square. Bernardo really works hard to make sure you have a good stay. The included breakfast is probably the best youll find (eggs, bacon, cereal, coffee/tea + juice and toast with jam). 100% recommend
The views of Lake Titicaca and the hotel garden from the hotel room and balcony were spectacular. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a little outside of town, which was great - very quiet, and an easy walk to town.
This was the perfect start to our Bolivian holiday! Our suite was lovely- both indoor and outdoor. Great views from our room and close to any must do and sees in Copacabana. We cooked 2 out of 3 days it was great! felt really homey!
Excellent stay in Copacabana. Breakfast was a good mix of bread, pancakes, fruit, yogurt and cereal. They also had nice comfy rooms and hot showers. The owners held our bags for free overnight whilst we stayed on the island.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The views of the lake from the bedroom windows were lovely. The staff were friendly and the hotel was in a good location.
The most unique hotel that I’ve ever stayed.
Everything is beautiful and well thought, a perfect place to recharge batteries after a long journey on South America.
Very kind owner/staff who let us store our bag for a night while we visited Isla del Sol. The room was modern and clean and located in the heart of Copacabana.
The hotel is in a beautiful place with a stunning view. The restaurant has great food and the staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and runs a great hotel.
