Food was actually much better than you could expect from motorway services. Staff spoke English so there were no issues with communication. This was our second time and , like previously, it didn't disappoint. There is a cheeky shortcut behind the hotel towards nearby city (Hamm) not requiring you to return to motorway, where you can refuel significantly cheaper than on a motorway (about 5 minutes by car to Shell petrol station).

Despite that the hotel is very quiet. The room is basic, beds are very comfortable and the bunk beds are nice size. The only thing I could complain about is the cleanliness of the carpets. There was lots of dust and dirt. Other than that rooms are very clean. Finding the reception was a bit confusing as its located in the restaurant attached to the hotel. We opted in for the hotel breakfast which was very nice and reasonably prices.

Convenient location if you're in the middle of a journey as it's just off the motorway. A great breakfast for 13 euros each.
