A wonderful period building with a lovely bedroom etc .The breakfast room was a delight to have breakfast in and the service was very good. The location was fantastic for all of the local sites and amenities. We enjoyed the bar/restaurant/beer garden too.
They even served my favourite beer- Timothy Taylor Landlord !! This all helped to make our first visit to Bourton-on-the Water a tremendous experience

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Stow on the Wold. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely return.

The room we had was better than expected, the breakfast was exceptional and was really needed in the morning.
We were attending a wedding and due to the timings we had to check in early to drops bags off and the staff were very accommodating.

It's a quiet village with pretty Cotswold stone cottages, a pub, church and dovecote. A good location to drive to other villages nearby such as Bourton on the Water, Morton on the Marsh, Stowe on the Wold, Lower Slaughter and Bibury. No foodshops nearby though so take provisions and stock up when you find one. You definitely need a car here. There is no nightlife here, theatres or cinemas but perfect for a peaceful break.

We didn’t go to Naunton, but Bourton-on-the-Water is only 10 minutes down the road, a very popular place. Stow was just 20 minutes away. You are not without many options … Sudeley Castle is very close too.
