This was a great stop between Galway and Limerick. I wanted to stay to have more time at the Cliffs of Moher as well. It is close. Also, you can walk to Doolin from the hotel and there is a beautiful walk up the hill from town.
The staff was wonderful. We felt very welcomed and at home. They left us a handwritten note on arrival.
They have great bathroom products and natural/local items available in the room and for purchase.
The food is also amazing! It is nice they include a breakfast. And it is not just any breakfast, it is great! Very happy and highly recommend this stay for multiple reasons.

Beautiful building, gorgeous property, large room that was very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with my decision to stay at Aran View Country House, and was especially pleased considering that I booked the room just the night before.

It was all wonderful. The house is located in a lovely place in the middle of the countryside and it is really peaceful. The room was big and well cleaned. The breakfast was really good and plentiful. We have loved our staying there.

The hosts were amazing, very welcoming & friendly.
Our bell tent was superb. 2 double beds & a single bed, a 2 seater sofa & plenty of furniture, a fan & an electric stove. Plenty of power points by each bed & chair. We had plenty of space to move around inside the tent even with our luggage . We traveled as a family, 2 adults, a teenager & an child. Bedrooms were spotlessly clean.
Beds & pillows were super comfortable & beds had 2 duvets each incase our less than average Irish temperatures hit ( we can get 4 seasons in one day here in Ireland,)
Outside the tent was a 6 seater picnic table & plenty of solar lights & on site a fully equipped 24hour kitchen with plenty of cooking facilities, fridges & freezers to store food safely. A laundry room with plenty of washers & dryers, , toilets & Showers with an abundance of hot water. Hairdryers available from the office.
Free Tea (Barry's Tea 👌) & Coffee courtesy of the hosts in the kitchen 24/7
The games & TV room had plenty of seating & well stocked to keep kids & adults entertained.
A short drive was a service station serving breakfast if you didn't fancy cooking your own & there are plenty of pubs serving delicious food.
As Irish people in Ireland, we don't normally go camping but this experience has certainly changed our minds.
Perfect spot for touring & seeing what beautiful Clare & Galway have to offer.
We won't be spending crazy money on hotel rooms again to be met with robotic emotions & smile from hotel staff. This is a more home from home experience.
We will definitely be rebooking here & if you haven't yet, please do, you won't be disappointed.
If I could rate it more than 10 stars I would. Please please please book here if you are to add one thing to your Irish travel bucket list. Open May to October, go on, give it a go!!!

A very charming village. The people were very friendly. Great pubs and live music (McGann's & McDermott's were the ones we visited). There is a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher from the parking lot of the ferry dock; our landlord recommended we go at sunset, and it was amazing! It happened to be high tide and the roaring waves made the scene even more astounding. Of course, the Cliffs are just down the road, and they are one of the best sights in Ireland.

Great music, fun and food.
Great music, fun and food. Excellent quality food in all pubs and hotels. You can walk between pubs but lack of street lights can make this dangerous at night...maybe there could be a store of hivis vests that could be swapped between pubs for those walking.

Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community. Loved the pubs. Took the scenic cliff side walk to Cliffs of Moher which was spectacular but super muddy. Amazing and majestic. Bus back to town could have been more on time and available.

Doolin is a cute little town and is a great place to stay for close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher. There isn't much to do in Doolin, so I recommend staying there only to spend the night after visiting the Cliffs that afternoon or before visiting the Cliffs the next morning.

Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops.
Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops. Good atmosphere and traditional Irish music available in the evenings.
Beside the sea and a ferry can take you to see the Aran Islands and the cliffs of Moher.
Outstanding B&B in all respects.
Purpose built, huge rooms, exceptionally comfortable beds. Incredible attention to detail, every possible need or want has been anticipated before you even think of it! Marion kindly made dinner reservations for us at the pub up the street so we didn't miss out on the music Doolin is famous for.
The breakfast is better than any 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at. An extensive cold buffet plus a hot meal prepared to order from a large selection.
Truly exceptional B&B
We loved literally everything about this property!! It is situated by the ocean, within view of the Cliffs of Moher, and close enough to walk into town for dinner, shopping, etc. Doolin Pier & ferry is right around the corner, perfect for trips to the Aran Islands. Our host, Eileen, was friendly and welcoming, our room was spacious, and the common areas (of which there were a few) were homey and comfortable. Before we’d checked out, we agreed we will be back!
The hotel was beautifully located on a picturesque meadow with spectacular views.
The history of the hotel as well as the castle was like stepping back in time. The restaurant delivered the best meal of our entire stay
The room was beautiful and comfortable although unseasonably warm.
Screens on the windows would be welcome other than that this hotel is a hidden gem of fabulous luxury in a stunning g country!
The Aran View is a charming older hotel, well managed by Sharon and Laura who were very helpful to us and also very friendly. We had a large room, comfortable beds, breakfast was great with many choices and was served quickly. The hotel is just a minute or two by car from McGann's Pub and McDermott's is also close. O'Connor's is a few more minutes south. I would stay here again.
Can’t say enough good things about this place… Fantastic staff, truly friendly, not “service, friendly”… Daniella at the front desk and Eddie in the restaurant especially… Speaking of the restaurant it is FANTASTIC !.. needed a place to stay lucky I found it would stay again… It’s great! if you’re anywhere near Doolin or cliffs of Moher this is a place to stay !!
Kieran was superb and helped us up to our room despite being in the middle of dinner service. The room was very spacious, clean and was nicely designed. Kieran was super friendly and funny.
The bed was comfortable, bathroom great and wifi strong. The hotel is within walking distance to all the famous pubs, all with live music 7 nights. We will be back again.
The friendly staff made this a memorable stay. The room was warm and comfortable. we had dinner in the attached restaurant and the food was outstanding. breakfast the following morning was also delicious and there were plenty of options. They even gave us a parting gift of yummy sweet bread. Next time I am in Doolin I will definitely return here.
Location was fantastic....right across street from bars and restaurants and right in the middle of Doolin. It was very private and quiet, and had a view of the stream which runs through Doolin. Great value. Carol, the owner was very accommodating. She left bottled water, coffee pods, and snacks for us.
The Fiddle + Bow Hotel exceeded our expectations! The staff were great. Our accommodations were so cute and welcoming. I loved all the personal touches. The restaurant(Russell’s) was amazing. I can’t say enough about this little secret that I’m sharing with everyone!
We stayed for a wedding in Hotel Doolin and the location was perfect - we were able to pop back and forth between our accommodation and hotel as we pleased. Room was excellent and very handy having the kitchenette for water to help with the hangover
Simply wonderful! If you’re looking for a unique experience and don’t want to spend night in a hotel or a B&B, Doolin glamping is the choice! Everything was super clean, staff very helpful and friendly. We will be definitely back!
Fabulous property, really clean and just all round lovely. Vincent was so nice and SO accomodating. We were there for a wedding and he even dropped us into Hotel Doolin. Really lovely stay and would go there again in a heartbeat
The bed was comfortable, the layout was great for two couples. The kitchen area was perfect for making simple breakfast, lunches and dinners. The location was close to everything we wanted to do in Doolin.
Overall decor was very nice. Grounds around the hotel were beautiful especially the castle. Service was excellent as was the restaurant on the property. Rooms were well appointed and clean/comfortable.
