Our host Beatrice was wonderful, full of warmth and chat. The views from the front of the house over Ventry beach are superb. The breakfast is very good and you really feel as though you are experiencing the host's home. The shared dining table allows for morning chats over breakfast with the other guests which is always enjoyable.

The external appearance of the farmhouse itself was lovely as was the rustic interior especially the wooden floorboards (although creaky!) The rooms were well organised with comfortable beds and linen. The breakfast options were generous and the kitchen well provisioned. The internet was amazing considering the remote location and the host was very welcoming

The location makes this guesthouse as it is basic, but friendly staff, a lively bar/restauant and the beautiful coastal scenery make it well worth staying at. It is about a 15 minute drive from Dingle which may affect its desireability for some.

Very rural.
Very rural. Most spectacular landscape, with breathtaking views of the off shore islands, beaches and cliffs. The pubs were lively and the bar staff very friendly. Lovely to hear the native language. Beautiful area to cycle around on a bicycle. Hidden smaller beaches around.
