A warm welcome. Small room for twin beds but bathroom was a good size with interesting shower.
We arrived late and left very early. We appreciated the 5am ride to the airport which was too far (for me) to walk with luggage.

Keflavik is easily overlooked by many whom just go straight to the capital but honestly its such a nice little town, there's enough to see and do to last a decent amount of time and in comparison at least for me was more fun to explore than the capital!

Did not travel to Keflavik, we were there at the airport for a stopover. Thought we could tour a little as we had 10 hours but the cost of the bus fare and taxi was very expensive and for a family of four we decided to stay put. The flights are cheap but everything else, if you are on a budget prepare yourself to spend a lot of money on food and transportation. Very clean place, their tap water is amazing, air is clean. Would love to go back to explore but will have to save a lot to be able to fully enjoy Iceland.

Good location near the airport.
Good location near the airport. We moved here the day before our early morning flight. The friendly lady in reception stored our bags and called a taxi to bring us to Blue Lagoon. We learned that the hotel had a special deal with taxis so we booked the same taxi to bring us back, which gave us a bit of a discount. We took their free airport shuttle very early the next morning. The driver who was also in charge of reception was nice and friendly too.

Don't arrive after 2200hrs.
Don't arrive after 2200hrs. You won't get the room you've paid for. Don't rely on information from staff. They give you inaccurate advice re buses etc. The hotel is a 55km bus ride from Reykjavik - a once hourly service - or a $200 taxi ride each way. There is not even a vending machine to buy a softdrink, crisps etc. This place is an expensive bed and a shower and a 6km (aka AUD$59) taxi ride from the airport. Dont waste your money!

After being dropped off at the airport, I realized I had left my purse in the van. I was able to call the owner and he quickly and generously drove back to the airport to give me my purse. Phew! What an angel! And he didn’t even charge me for the inconvenience of driving back! Super short ride to the airport!

It's a lovely place. Must visit.
It's a lovely place. Must visit. If you have kids under 8 then you might not be able to go to a lot of adventures tours. Food is expensive. Rain is a Scandinavian restaurant where one must go if visiting Iceland.
Accommodation was clean, well equipped and in a great location. It is owned by Hotel Keflavik across the road which looks amazing. Breakfast was served there and it is a buffet. The choice of food was incredible. Wished we were staying longer so that we could try everything. Very handy for central Keflavik and a short drive to the airport. Breakfast is served from 5.00am which is great if you have an early flight. The shared bathroom was very clean and there are two bathrooms to around 6 rooms so we never had to wait.
The hotel was truly fantastic. Very spacious, modern and clean room and bathroom. Total blackout blinds and curtains so no light comes through the window in the morning and good sound proofing between rooms. Friendly staff. There was also a really nice restaurant in the hotel that serves dinner and breakfast with great vegetarian options. And then of course, it is only a 150 metre walk from the airport terminals which was ideal for my early morning flight. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
We needed a room for 1 night on our arrival in Iceland, not far from the Keflavik airport.
Hotel is at about 3' driving from the car rental location. so if you land at 2AM, by 2.30 (check-in and bags ecc... included) you are already sleeping
Nice and clean, with the best and varied breakfast we had in all our stay in Iceland.
At arrival receptionist was very courteous explained all needs and features of hotel and the details for breakfast on next morning.
Excellent place to stay before an early morning flight. I now recommend this place to all my family when they come to stay in Iceland. The early breakfast and airport shuttle are very convenient, and the place was perfectly located for easy quick access to the airport. The restaurant attached made delicious food for dinner (though not cheap). We got here via the local bus from Reykjavik and walked the 5 minutes or so from the bus stop.
A small hotel only 10 minutes from the airport at a reasonable price. Although a bit hidden away in a residential area, the hotel provided a comfortable night before our flight home. There were a number of restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. The 2-story hotel has an elevator. A self service breakfast is available starting at 4:30 am. Although we arrived before checkout time, they were able to get our room ready early.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed spending time talking with them. A beautifully appointed and clean hotel in a great location just minutes from the airport. A great big hot tub on the roof deck was a nice way to relax on a cold winter night. Very good food at the restaurant. This hotel also has a free shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. Very useful.
Very simple hotel with no elevator. I got great views across the bay and only stayed for 1 night as I had an early flight to catch from Keflavik airport. The hotel is close to good restaurants and bars. Use trip advisor to find them as they don't look like much from the outside but are surprising inside. The owner shuttled me to the airport at 5am which is a real bonus.
Very clean and quiet, well-stocked kitchen in our unit, and ample choice of self-serve breakfast cereals and coffee/tea, butters/jams ( although the hosts claim they don’t _serve_ breakfast, the do-it-yourself fixings were perfect for us)! Ample free parking, easy walk to main streets with restaurants and supermarket. This is our new favorite in Keflavik/Reykjanesbaer.
Keflavik is a sleepy fishing port 6km from the main airport. We chose the hotel for its proximity to the airport. The room was nice and modern. The main restaurant, in the form of a library theme, served delicious meals. Breakfast offered a wide choice of hot and cold food. Service was friendly and helpful. We felt welcomed.
Small minimalistic hotel, but very comfortable. It had a bar and a great restaurant inside. Convenient free shuttle to Keflavik international airport. The breakfast was better quality and selection than most continental breakfasts (also opens early in case you want start your drive early).
Very close to Keflavik international airport, very friendly receptionist and shuttle bus driver. The large room. It is ok to stay if you need to catch a flight in the morning. The hotel is located in what used to be old Air-force barracks, so the rooms are rather large.
Clean, modern hotel, close to the Airport. We checked in late, our room card was prepared on the reception (no staff contact needed) Room was new, fresh and clean, the bed was super. Breakfast was fine, nothing special.
There are good restaurants near to the hotel.
If you have a late arrival or early departure from Keflavik Airport, this hotel is the best one!
Very lovely staff
Very delicious breakfast with too many varieties
Oppotunity to pay by credit card in Euro without ISK exchange issues
Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of options and was open for our early morning flight. The location in relation to the rental car drop-off and airport terminal was perfect! We also enjoyed a great dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Great location in pleasant surroundings conveniently situated close to Keflavik Airport. The restaurant was small and intimate with an excellent tasting menu. The hotel has an amazing floating globe in the lobby!
Good hotel, perfect for the airport with a free shuttle and breakfast starting at 4am! Large rooms with plenty of space to repack your suitcases for the trip home. Quiet and convenient. Useful restaurant.
the free breakfast was AMAZING! The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. We were in walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. Very nice hotel.
