Loved the terrace overlooking the hills and vineyards for the morning breakfast. There were numerous stations with may choices including fresh fruits, breads ,rolls, meats, cheeses, eggs and fresh juices as well as cappuccinos and expressos. The staff were professional but friendly. The infinity pool overlooking the hills and vineyards was stunning. We loved the wellness facility with the beautiful steam rooms, ice showers and jacuzzi. Every effort was made to assure your stay was one you will never forget. We loved it!

Beautiful property on the top of the hill in Gaiole in Chianti. Our room was recently renovated with a great shower. Spa and pool available. Restaurant and winery on site.
Surrounded by vineyards, Podere Lucignano Secondo Agriturismo is located in the Tuscan countryside and on the hills of Gaiole in Chianti.

The property is very large, so we enjoyed the space. We could eat outside and enjoy the view, or sit inside and light up a fire. The hosts were very helpful too. Its a good place to spend a few days or even weeks!
The location was fantastic! You are completely surrounded by beauty.
The only problem I personally had was the heat... and I was unable to produce cross current ventilation in the downstairs area where my daughter slept on the sofa bed because of the lack of screens on the doors ....and you needed them because of mosquitoes and bees! Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved it .
We loved it . We loved the staff , the wine and the breakfast was magnificent. The gardens were a dream and the kids enjoyed the pool . The restaurant on-site was expensive and the kids would have loved some more basic options . The room was clean and linen good however o feel that the accommodation could be upgraded some what . The staff went out of there way to help and the most friendly hotel staff we have come across in Italy .

The facility was just as advertised, rustic and authentic Tuscan accommodation. We were disappointed that we booked a separate villa with a kitchen unit and was given a suite instead with little explanation. Had a tub instead of a walk in shower and no place to make our own cooking which was one of the reasons we chose this property. Our room was sparse but comfortable but the heater in the sitting area was not working. The wifi was spotty and not reliable, same for mobile phone service. Staff was friendly and the countryside was remote but beautiful.

Gaiole is very much where the best wines are in Tuscany.
Gaiole is very much where the best wines are in Tuscany. The town itself is more of a very small village with not a great deal to see or do. There are a few decent restaurants but nothing great. Two banks with ATMs right in the middle of the village can be useful for travelers. One charges a small fee for withdrawals, the other doesn't. If you're there in October, like we were, there's an annual wine festival attended by all the vineyards in the area. This was a plus for us. One of the best things about Gaiole, though, is that it makes a great base for visiting the surrounding areas, including Sienna. Lots to see within an hours drive. And drives are absolutely spectacular, especially if you take your time and stop often.

A pretty town with lovely people!
A pretty town with lovely people! Easy to get around by car and many interesting activities to partake in e.g. wine tasting, picnic, hiking, or just relaxing in the grounds of one of the nearby Castellos e.g. Castello di Tornano.

We liked the breakfast (made specifically to our wishes), room equipment and cleanliness. Passion went into the design of every detail. Staff was extremely helpful. Small town Gaiole is very nice with a beautiful marketplace and a few extraordinary restaurants. Small supermarket 5 min walk near the B&B. The shower is in super shape, very clean and well maintained. We recommend the homemade cookies made in the B&B kitchen.
Experience everything under one roof at my recent farm stay in La Canonica Di Nusenna.
From the charm of an Italian farm to the vibrant living art gallery, immerse yourself in the essence of Italy. I
ndulge in the aromatic -moka coffee, exquisite vino, and the finest cuisine the region has to offer. What truly sets this experience apart is the warm welcome of Simone and Alessio , making stay unforgettable.
The hotel is located in a small mountain village. The scenery here is beautiful. Sitting in the garden looking at the vineyards, walking in the village, very comfortable.
The hotel is well equipped, swimming pool, small restaurant with a small menu. Every employee is very enthusiastic. The house wine is not bad.The breakfast is very very good, especially the coffee and local salami.
Wonderful, quiet, rural location in the heart of the Chianti Classico region.
Very friendly helpful hostess who prepared very good breakfasts.
Magnificent views from our top floor room.
Good free off-street parking 50 meters from the accommodation.
Two restaurants about 1km away (15-20 min walk), one offering excellent value local cuisine, the other fine dining.
Exceptional view at Toscana hills
The property is clean, it has an amazing design and attention to every detail. The perfect mix of traditional and modern for a pleasant stay.
The location is great as well. Very close to other wineries and castles.
We will definitely come back to enjoy the vacation under the Tuscan sun.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Given the ancientness of the building – with is part of its undeniable charm - the room appointments and overall facilities were surprisingly modern. And, of course, the scenery in that area of Tuscany is breathtaking; like staying in a picture postcard of Italy.
If you thinking of booking don’t hesitate just book. Daniela and Paulo were amazing hosts. We stayed for seven nights and ate every night together with other guests. Daniela’s food was pure local Tuscan delights. They both go out of their way helping you to plan your visits and restaurants in the area
Great location and views, severely let down by a lack of basic good hotel services.
The staff were nice and pleasant but clearly haven't seen a hotel operating at this price level.
Room and bed were comfortable but overpriced.
I have stayed in the area at various hotels over the last 10 years.
Everything! The proprietors were welcoming, attentive, hospitable, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location was perfect and the beds were incredibly comfortable…the best we have had in Italy! Dinners were delicious! Our cooking class was fantastic! WE WILL BE BACK!
A beautiful place in the middle of the Chianti region.. Spacious rooms in the Castle with a great view. The enoteca is good, and the wines are really excellent. The staff made reservations for dinner in different restaurants and find transfers to go. Breakfast is good, with local products.
Beautiful hotel in the middle of the forest!
Great staff.
Excellent breakfast.
DELICIOUS dinner (recommended by michelin guide), don't miss it!
Large and nice room with Netflix TV. Bathroom was large and convenient as well.
Parking is great.
Beautiful small hotel, with amazing views and great personnel, who is very friendly and welcoming. All this made our stay so special and unique. You feel a personal approach and makes you feel, like VIP guest and at the same time,it feels like home.
Everything was perfect! Amazing views from this charming and spotless B&B; the bed was very comfortable, good shower and delicious breakfast with local products! Also, the super kind host recommended the best restaurant we've been in Tuscany.
Perfect place in the hart of Tuscany.
Authentic preservation combined with relaxed modern comfort.
An island of peace and beauty. The room, the pool and the garden were excellent.
The hotel restaurant is highly recommended too.
The breakfast was amazing and was the best part of our stay. The location and the surrounding hills are nothing short of stunning! There is also a wonderful little restaurant just down the street that serves excellent food.
Exellent location, very cute rooms! Very flexible staff, even if we wouldn't make it on the agreed arrival time and the reception was closed, they did their best to accommodate us! I truly appreciate it!
Great small B&B hotel in the center of Gaiole. Massimo the host is absolutely fantastic. A truly nice human being and always happy to help with anything. For the price and location this is a great place.
Staff was really friendly, the hotel is a very cool rustic property, very quiet and peaceful. Renovated bathrooms & comfortable beds. Breakfast was good. Parking was excellent.
Loved it, hotel was comfortable, staff amazing, food was magnificent and breakfast was great.
Pool was lovely except seating. Restaurant for dinner was lovely
The hotel was positioned in a breathtaking setting and captured the enchanting essence of Tuscany. Nevertheless, I wouldn't classify it as a wellness hotel.
