The room was a little dated, but spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the bathtub, especially with the cooler wet weather.

Macau is the true east meets west philosophy. Buddhist temples coexist with Baroque churches, peaceful oriental parks are overshadowed by mega-casinos and cobblestone streets are filled with rickshaws.
Hong Kong’s neighbour across the Pearl River strait consists of the mainland that borders the People's Republic of China and 2 major islands joined by the Cotai Strip. Coloane island is a natural wonderland with its mountains and beaches, whereas Taipa includes Macau International Airport and residential suburbs.
The prominent Macau Tower dominates the skyline of this former Portuguese colony and denotes the coming of age of modern-day Macau. It has set the stage for an economic boom with Vegas-style casinos lining the Macau Peninsula waterfront.
Historic sites and cuisine are important factors in this shining tourism star of China. St. Paul’s Cathedral was the largest Catholic church in Asia at the time with its ruins dating back to the 16th century. The fusion of Mediterranean flavours and traditional Chinese cooking methods makes eating out in the capital an unforgettable experience.

It was the second time I visit Macau. The first time was before Covid lockdown. I like the city and the old colonial buildings but the people were the same. Most of them can't speak English and unfriendly especially the 40+ yo people. If you need help, you should ask young people. Internet on your mobile and Google Maps is the must!

The city's historical districts are beautiful, with preserved Portuguese heritage. The landscapes are also very nice, with tall and shinny Casinos. The cuisine is an interesting mix of Asian with Portuguese influences. People are kind and welcoming.
However, I was deeply disappointed by how the Portuguese language is not used at all in hotels, restaurants and public offices, even being an official language. In fact, I had the feeling that it might be even downplayed in purpose which was particularly sad to observe.
Besides the historical centre, you will most find big casinos and shoppings malls. The old part of Macau is mainly walkable although to move between points of interest (airport, ferry terminals) it was better to use taxis. Credit cards are not widely accepted so it is better to have cash. MOP, RMB and HKD (1:1) are accepted.

I would recommend to stay at Taipa area, where all the newer casino themed hotels are located. I particularly enjoy viewing the Grand Canal Shoppes inside Venetian Macao. Take a day to sight see St. Paul cathedral ruins, Senado Square and drop by the historical A-Ma temple. Enjoyed overall the good Cantonese and Portuguese cuisines.

The locals you meet are generally a hit or miss - either extremely friendly and hospitable, or terribly fierce. But nevertheless, still a great place to visit and enjoy the cool weather. Definitely explore the Cotai strip and the various light shows/ performances - this can probably keep you entertained and occupied for a couple of days. Take another day for the historical areas and maybe even the older casinos.

In some aspects Macau is an expensive version of China, with some areas looking rather tired and in need of upkeep, but there are plenty of European restaurants and cultural explorations to make it worth at least one visit. The hotels in my opinion are a bit overrated/overpriced, but fun for one visit to see what all the fuss is about (I live in mainland China). The lower prices here make it a good shopping trip for a long weekend break combined with some sightseeing - the Portuguese influenced areas with their narrow winding streets are nice to visit with plenty of small shops and interesting historical links.

It was Christmas when we visited the Ruins of Saint Paul and there was an orchestra to celebrate the event. The place was crowded but we're happy with the experience of walking to the ruins with a lot of free taste on the way.

Gucci at the concierge and Joanne at the reception really took care of all our needs from celebration of family birthday to all the itinerary. The service here is really the best. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety, facility was good and clean, the hotel is a lot quieter than other bigger hotel which I really enjoyed. I would highly recommend four seasons hotel Macau to anyone. Thanks Gucci and Joanne for your exceptional service to make our stay really special♡
The hotel is situated in a very convenient location with lots of bus stops. The hotel also provides shuttle buses between the hotel and the HZM bridge. The buffet breakfast has lots of varieties and the food tastes good too. We stayed there for 2 nights and the varieties of breakfast items changed which is surprising. The hotel staff are very helpful and nice. One of the rooms has fabulous city view of Macau. We enjoyed the swimming facilities too.
The location was fine but the interaction between staff and customer was poor. No knowledge of the booking, charged for the night, charged for a no show when I actually stayed there. refused to pay back the deposit of $200 macau which I’m still
trying to get chased up.
All in all quote disappointed. I was given an upgrade room and the hotel is dated, quite ages but I expected that.
Location - connected to LRT station that takes me to airport and ferry terminal in less than 10min. Value for money rates - rooms are big and rates are much cheaper than the surrounding hotels.
The pool and hot tubs facilities are not crowded and well maintained.
I love dining at their Beijing Kitchen- had 3 meals there. Peking duck is the best I’ve ever had.
Clean and spacious room with comfortable bed, clean bathroom with good ventilation, nice location with a walk-able distance to Macau major sightseeing (A-ma temple to Senado sqaure), bus stop in front of the hotel to Macau tower, Cotai area and airport. Staffs were nice and helped me calling a taxi to the Airport in the early morning (5-6 am)
The price is quite acceptable in Macau. The location is not bad if you stay here you should travel by public bus. The chinese restaurant in the hotel is good. Near the property, there is a local restaurant that has two senior lady who are very nice and yummy food.
Great view, thoughtful service, perfect facility, delicious meal. There are also many bus stop near the hotel and only 20 mins to ruin of Saint Paul’s. The hotel has own bus to the Macau Outer Port Wharf.
The hotel is a bit old, but well maintained. Rooms are big enough. Pillows are comfy. Breakfast is simple, but ok. Staff on the front desk is nice. Probably the best you can get for this price in Macau.
Absolutely loved everything about this hotel!! It’s perfect for young people, and families with kids too. There is even a cinema there! Lots of Korean couples book it, and they know quality things!
Crowne plaza hotel Macau, very good.
