The hotel is very well located, has 2 Swimming Pools on the Rooftop, and a Jacuzzi (these last two need a little revamping).
I liked the fact that they answered our request to switch rooms, as the Toilet had an issue with the Shower Cabin that leaked water, causing a flood on every shower.

This is a resort that thoroughly deserves its 5 stars. My second stay and chose a luxury suite on this occasion which I highly recommend. The staff work hard to make your stay as good as possible. I’m already looking forward to my next visit

Absolutely amazing place with the best views across the island. There's so much history to see and experience and loads of choice for food. Definitely wander out of the main gate and over to Crystal Palace for the best Pastizzi, and Fontanella's on the city wall is a must.

Mdina is nice for a few hours but there’s not a lot to do if you have done all the museums, cathedrals and archaeological sites in other parts of Malta and Gozo as we had done.
It’s very historical with lovely glassware and silver jewellery in the quaint little shops.
It was a nice place to chill out after a hectic few days elsewhere on Malta.

A truly spectacular ancient small walled city.
A truly spectacular ancient small walled city.
The downside of this being the sheer number of tourists, however in the early morning or latter in the evening when they have left it has a serenity , it is wonderful then to just wander the ancient streets.
Very spacious and very well equipped property. Loved the uniqueness of the layout and in the height of summer the pool area was an excellent facility to be able to enjoy. It felt like we were living in a part of Mdina's history.
As a base for visiting Malta, Mdina is ideally placed, with taxis and local buses easy to pick up from the main gate.
Peter and his staff couldn't be more helpful throughout the duration of our stay.
This is a real gem. It's a small boutique Hotel in the old capital of Malta. It's a unique place. The service is really out of this world. They addressed all the things you can imagine to give you the ultimate experience. From the first contact till we left everything was spot on and marvelous. We had dinner in the restaurant which was outstanding. We will definitely come back. I highly recommend this hotel.
The owner greeted me at the door. The check in process was 5 star. You are welcomed in seated given a tasty local beverage while the owner explains the layout and history of the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is also 5 star the scallops were amazing the Amberjack was good. The room was great very comfortable bedding. The heated floors in the bathroom were great.
The staff were excellent: friendly, professional and attentive.
This is the only hotel within the city walls of Mdina - so the location was perfect.
We stayed for three nights - and dined at Medina, Trattoria AD1530 and Mondion (for the best tasting menu ever!!).
These restaurants are all in Mdina and linked with the hotel, so booking was easy.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, top notch! It’s a boutique hotel so the owners and staff are very personable and cater to your needs. We were treated amazingly from arrival at the airport to check out. Our suite was beautifully decorated and luxurious. We were sad to leave. My family and I will definitely stay here on our next trip to Malta.
- Beautiful hotel
- Great location
- Nice, happy, smiling service upon welcoming
- Nice checkin
- The staff who eventually came to the room were, for the most part, nice, though often late. This is most likely due to poor management and poor communication than it is the staff (maintenance, housekeeping, etc).
The history that comes with this property. It is an unique hotel in an unique place! The staff, the care about guests and the fact that the hotel is so updated to our times and technology but in the same time all the fabulous features from back in history are kept and present there, to reminder where you are!
We loved staying behind the walls of the Mdina gate. Such a unique experience and location. The room was always clean, fresh water every time they cleaned the room, staff was great and the De Mondion restaurant was SO good. Definitely a special meal. The pool was so nice to come back to and relax.
In the center of Malta an elegant small boutique hotel in an old palace.
With taste renovated, a big clean room and wonderful personal.
The owner himself a distinguished man, a very kind person carrying for you and his personal.
I would love to returne soon.
Lovely classic terrace property in a fabulous location just inside Mdina city walls. Property agents were friendly, professional and very responsive, provided prompt and clear arrival instructions. Clean and modern interior still retaining classic charm.
Gorgeous former home with 6 large rooms, excellent breakfast, family run but 5 star! The staff was amazing! I urge you to stay here!!! Such a lovely experience in the center of Mdina.
Beautiful building in the heart of Mdina.
Evenings are truly magical and the staff is extraordinarily helpful and friendly.
Rooftop terrace was beautiful for a drink or breakfast.
