The resort is a absolute gem. It is situated on a small Island covered in lush vegetation which is very welcome in the hot and humid climate. The resort was kept spotless clean at all times. The resorts bars and restaurants are very nice with a wide variety of choice for all tastes. The staff in general are very professional and helpful, with a special mention of Faloo at the main bar with his friendliness, jokes and a good communicator.

The welcome was incredible and instantly put up into relaxation mode, the service and choice of food was excellent. The colours of the water were so special. Could not have asked for a better honeymoon. We loved every minute. The boat trip to see dolphins was 10/10. Everything about this is 5* luxury, we will be recommending to family and friends.
Thank you for an amazing stay.

We stayed on one of the those water villas with a sunset view. The place was amazing, relaxing, and breath taking all at the same time. There were small sharks and sting rays right in front of our accommodation. We went there mid of April which was towards the end of summer and it rained 2/8 days that we stayed but it was still hot. They had one of these floating breakfast right in front of our room with an amazing view of the Indian Ocean and it is where I did my marriage proposal. The place was clean and the staff were really helpful. Meals were buffet style, no pork or crustaceans as the Maldives is pre dominantly Muslim. At first we were just expecting to chill out and relax in this island but there were activities and excursions as well.
Tip: If you are not really into alcohol, Half Board will do you fine.
Tip: Make sure your flights in and out of the Maldives matches with your seaplane flight in and out of the smaller islands as seaplanes are not 24hrs.
Tip: Bring your own snorkelling equipment, it will save you some money.

Everything. Since you enter, you feel like a home. Owners and all staff are very kind and helpful. The island is clean and bikini beach really close to guesthouse. You can borrow all equipment for snorkeling for free. There is a great rooftop where you can practice yoga or just have a rest with coffee.
Beautiful Atoll and very kind local people. Many spots where to snorkel. The reef is full of life (beautiful marine species). A right place for fishing huge trevally, tuna, mahi-mahi, and baracuda (among other coral fishes)

I specifically chose Baa atoll as it is in the protected Biosphere that regulates fishing and any harmful practices to the underwater environment and coral reefs. It consists of a number of small individual islands as well as a number of "native" islands where locals live and maldivian culture can be experienced. It's also not too far from Male airport - just a short domestic flight and speedboat to the island.

Sadly, corals reef mostly deed.
Sadly, corals reef mostly deed.
However, there are still really many coral fish to watch if you like snorkeling. Beaches are good.
Clarity of water was a big mystery for me. It could change from "absolutely clear" to "milky" within 1.5-2 hours. Not sure what to blame for this: tide change or ash from islands rubbish burning plants. Visited two islands 15-20 min away from Dharavandhoo.
Saw many sharks from 0.5m babies to 3m

This was a very low key, relaxing experience.
This was a very low key, relaxing experience. Just what you want with a holiday getaway. Absolutely beautiful island. Water Villa room very nice, with snorkeling right out of the room. Boat trips $$$ were great to see dolphins, turtles, etc. Staff and food were great. However, we spent a lot of time trying to figure out what food and drinks were included in the all-inclusive deal, and what were extra. On "seafood night," I asked for a little half-pound lobster tail. Turned out to be US$73 extra. We went on a fishing trip, and they said the kitchen would cook what we caught. But that was a US$30 extra charge. Worst problem here is internet. The only place you can get internet is in the lobby. Wifi in bar and restaurant not functional. And if you want internet in your room it's a US$44+/day but basically doesn't work either. Seriously folks, it's 2023, not 1993!

The stay was magical.
The stay was magical. Where I come from, we don't have such amazing weather and environment. It was so relaxing and just what was needed. I needed 1-3 more days to have a full week. I only wish I had everything covered and not need to pay for any extras other than souvenirs.
I want to add to the previous review: all the shortcomings eliminated the next day after my comment.
And the rubric of unsolicited advice: I strongly recommend taking a snorkeling lesson, if you are a beginner like me, do not worry, in this hotel you will be in good hands). The reef here is very beautiful! You can see an incredible underwater world within two minutes of the villa.
And we also took an excursion with dolphins and another one with mantas. We were very happy with the organization, the guides and got a lot of emotions!
Everything was PERFECT! Thanks to our host Akram and the rest of the great staff. Our host helped us with every single small detail and request. All of the staff are well-informed about our likes and dislikes what our schedule looks like which is unheard of. Villa was great, loved the breakfast, activities and everything about the place! The best service we have received in our entire life! And I really think that what made our stay stress free and super convenient and comfortable.
We loved the villa, amenities, and amazing service from all the staff. We booked this hotel in part thanks to the Kids Club and it did not disappoint, the nannies were sweet and trustworthy. Our daughter had a wonderful time! We booked upon arrival full board, it was the best choice. The drinks menu for full board dining was really good, the food was delicious... the Villas are fabulous as well as the pool. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back.
Hello, we're writing this message to you from Morocco, sending to you the best wishes
We really enjoyed our vacation at the wonderful resort "Dhighufaru", especially when we met you "Moroccan couple" it was really good we did a lot of things like singing together, swimming..
The service at the hotel was very good, the nights parties were good too, everything was fine..
It really was a superb and marvelous experience..
Thank you for everything ❤️
We loved our stay at Clarcks, every thing was perfect from the island to the hotel.
The hotel is very nice with stunning views on the ocean, and there is an amazing beach 5 min walk.
The staff is very welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and give advices. Ram and Aniket were definitely our favourite, they are extremely nice and helpful.
The island it self is very cute and safe.
The staff was very friendly and helping plus the facilities were really clean and the amenities were of high quality. The best thing was the amazing view from the room. The food at hotel is pretty nice, the island also offers other restaurants and grocery shops, also has a nice beach. The hotel also accommodated my special request for a romantic dinner on the beach. Highly recommended.
I’m from Saudi Arabia , I came with my 2 kids and my husband. I was a little worried that kids might not enjoying it or feeling boring . But I like the hotel put kids in consideration by having lots of activities for them to do beside babysitting them . I had my full privacy in my villa . All the team were lovely . I strongly recommend it .
Great location, highly qualified staff, delicious food, wonderful nature and a quiet place. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Aaron for the warm hospitality and to Ahmed Zubair for the friendly attitude in the restaurant, I already miss my second home, Royal Island Resort at Baa Atoll, where I will definitely return again.
Fabulous hotel, beautiful room, comfy bed , great shower and the location is perfect less than 5 minutes walk to the stunning beach with the reef metres of the beach with loads of fish . I saw dolphins off the beach . Waheed the manager arranged everything inc a snorkelling trip to see turtles. outstanding value highly recommended
The bathroom was special. You could have a shower looking the stars. The bed was huge, very comfortable. They offered coconut water for free. They would take you for free everywhere in the island you wish, and after bring you back to the hotel. However, it deserves rather walking if you can over this paradice island.
Had a 2 nights stay and the hotel was amazing beautifully designed also wanted to mention about the staffs, they were extremely friendly, most importantly the smile of the staff, it shows how close they are to the guests. Thank you so much for the hospitality that all have given👍✌️
we chose this hotel for coral reef. have seen lots of fish, turtles, moray eel , shark!
breakfasts are GREAT! we lived in family suite , there was teapot , coffee machine, TV set,
massage in spa was cool !
great cocktails in the bar near main restaurant
Very friendly staff at restaurant, bar, massage salon, and souvenir shop. We are like friends after staying for 4 nights. We had a half board option and all the foods they served were excellent.
And the dive center is PADI 5-star with “very” nice staff!
Everything from the villa, the view and the staff everything was perfect .. our butler Maher was exceptional and made sure everything was taken care of from the minute we arrived till the moment we left.
The location is wonderful, the hotel is comfortable with spacious and luxurious rooms that sit on the beach but protected from the open sea by the reef. Plenty of sea life with sharks and turtles.
In general the island is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are all helpful. Would recommend to anyone. If you want a trip filled with activities be sure to budget for it.
The views are fantastic in Westin resort maldives. i enjoyed my time and it is the ideal place to retreat from big cities. Shout out to Solomon who made our stay fantastic!
Extremely kind and helpful owners, beautiful rooms, good homemade cuisine, amazing trips from the guesthouse and great atmosphere inside the hotel. everything was perfect
