A small town, with limited entertainment and eating options; a nice cafe (next to Société Générale Poindimié), and Koyaboa Pizza after 5pm. The 'Poindimié Discount' is a good supermarket in the middle of town.
Nice place to escape from the tourist trail, and experience what we believed to be "authentic New Caledonia".
