Hotel Schani Salon is a small 4-star hotel right on Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna’s biggest and liveliest shopping street. The Ringstraße boulevard is a 10-minute walk away. Good location, very nice staff and comfy place. The breakfast was pretty good too. We came by a combination of train and bike, and having a inner yard for storing bikes was definitely a plus.

Combining exclusive design with modern Viennese art, this 4-star boutique hotel is located right on the Mariahilfer Straße shopping street and directly opposite the Museum Quarter. Breakfast at 25 euro per person. We had a great selection of breads, cold cuts, cheese, nuts, jams (strawberry and apricot), poached eggs with ham on spinach and brown bread, fruits, coffee and/or tea. Room was a good size for 2. Bed was the most comfortable one I’ve slept in Austria. The sheets are comfortable and great for a good night’s sleep. There’s a Nespresso machine. Front office staff are friendly and helpful. If you’re looking to be pampered, this is the perfect hotel for you. From the decor, choices of furniture, fixtures, and linen to the design and space maximization of the room, everything is well curated, the perfect experience for a luxury boutique hotel. Just a side note. There is a spa you can book (but we weren’t able to because of lack of time) but there is no gym. I think the spa though is a great substitute.

Featuring a bar with a rooftop terrace and free WiFi, Ruby Marie Hotel Vienna is located in the renovated former Stafa department store right at the corner of Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna’s best-known... Everything was just perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. Especially the common areas. This was my first solo travel and I felt so safe. Loved the drinks in the evening and coffee in the morning. My room was excellent and the fancy speaker was a nice surprise.

Amazing location, great breakfast, friendly staff. Greeted at the reception by Ahmed. Went with me out int the rain to help me park the car, helped us also find restaurant.
