Across the street, there is a lovely promenade with great views of Tokyo Skytree and the Asahi building. This is a great area for families visiting Tokyo as it’s less hectic as compared to Shibuya or Shinjuku areas. There are still great shopping and restaurant options here. The Hotel Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room size was ideal for our family of 4 and much larger than our first hotel room in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo at the outset of our visit. Highly recommend!

Great design, lots of storage space, separated tatami room from the living area. Location is also great with 2 mins walking to subway station.

MIMARU TOKYO ASAKUSA STATION menawarkan akomodasi bintang 4, berlokasi di Tokyo, 2 menit jalan kaki dari Stasiun Asakusa dan 200 m dari Komagatado. Amazing location right at Asakusa Station and a stone's throw away from old town Asakusa/Senso-ji. Our room had a wonderful view of the Sumida river and the famous "golden poo". Tokyo Skytree is a pleasant 20 mins walk away and can be seen from our room. We've stayed at other Mimaru hotels before and this is definitely the best one. Well worth the money - do pay more for the river view! Staff is helpful and friendly and we loved the Family Mart and BK right outside the hotel!

I like everything of this hotel. First of all, a very warming welcome with an apple juice and sake, they treat you like a member of their family not just like a guest, always ready for all your needs. Room was perfectly clean,, large and a so comfortable bed, I have a perferct sleep.. Location perfect just 1 min walk from JR station, 15 mins from Ueno and all amenities. They speak a very good English, so no problem if you can't speak Japanese.
