Located within 6 km of Sunken Ship and 4.5 km of Ao Muong, Wyh Hotels offers rooms in Koh Tao. With a terrace, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Very nice installations and good location. Host was very welcoming and helpful when we asked for recommendations.

Situated in Koh Tao and with Sairee Beach reachable within 300 metres, The Stamp Hotel features express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a... Good family run hotel (Wan & brother "K"). Clean, spacious, quiet rooms yet close to the beach, restaurants, & bars. A/C is powerful & they have a very useful backup generator if the city power goes out (which did happen on 1 of the 6 nights I stayed here). They also rent scooters, book tours, etc. "K" runs the scooter rentals. He seemed pretty reasonable to me. "Reception" area also a small "tourist" office run by Wan & "K" which didn't bother me. I sleep in the room, not the reception area. I'd prefer a not so great "reception" area & a great room vs the other way around. Good value, especially if you are not renting a scooter on the island, as it's very conveniently located without the noise. Exactly what I was looking for. A 500 Baht deposit is required for room key. I had no problem getting it back upon departure.

The rooms were super clean and massive and the bed was the comfiest we have stayed in in Asia!!! Location is great as just at the end of town so no noise from the clubs but 5 minutes from the beach and town. Staff are helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day!
