Parking really easy and a short drive or a walk into Brixham. Beautiful St Mary's Bay down a 100 steps just a few mins from the lodge and beautiful walks on the SW coastal path on your doorstep. The park is clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The caravan was equipped with all you needed to cook meals for the duration of your stay. There was a full range of facilities on-site small pool, laundrette, and bar. A steam train passes throughout the day. Picnic benches overlooking Torbay. The bus stop is right outside the site. Good location to base for exploring Devon. I went when children were still at school, It was very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely go again.

Everything was perfect. We travelled very far to get here and the property was immaculate. We had Everything that was needed to wind down after such a long journey they even went the extra mile with all the necessities to make a brew, toiletries, kitchen accessories,towels everything needed to make it a warm welcoming without having to go out and get anything from the shops. Absolutely outstanding. Will be looking forward to our next stay here. Thank you so much.

We were spoilt by delicious treats, and the house has a relaxed & peaceful feeling. The property is decorated with love & thoughtfulness and the garden was a calm place to sit quietly and enjoy sunshine and cat cuddles. The shower is fabulous and the bed super comfy. Hortus House is one of our favourite choices in a long time.
