The Makulu camp is definetely a hidden gem! We had an extraordinary stay at their place - the staff was great, offerinh so many things to do snd helped us organizing everything regarding transport, the safari etc. The super romantic bonfire dinner in the middle of the djungle at night was a highlight we are lucky to have experienced.

Very kind owner warm and welcoming. The river front and very quiet environment is wonderful. The dinner they made (for a good price) was delicious and the safari was fantastic! We saw many animals. Would recommend to everyone!!

This resort is an absolute gem and a must stay if you are visiting Udawalawe National Park. For an affordable price you get to stay at a luxurious glamping style resort. The rooms were clean, beautifully designed and a delight. The food was amazing from the options available to the flavour. As well the service from the staff was some of the best I’ve ever received. The big highlight from this experience was the safari we booked with the resort. If you book the safari ask for Lasantha. He is the best driver and safari tour guide ever. He really went out of his way to create the best experience for us. He is top notch!!!

fantastic resort, tent that we stayed was extra clean and spacious. bathroom was clean and without any bugs even it was located outside. Two spacious spotless clean pools. Restaurant have great selection for breakfast. We took safari with hotel and was fantastic, all service provided is highly recommended. Great value for money as well

A little oasis surrounded by nature and a beautiful river (very nice for reading a book!). Everything was perfect and the stuff is incredibly friendly and very helpful!
