The breakfast is very good with everything traditional from the region, from butter to sweets and even bread. Sabine and her husband welcomed us fantastically. The Portuguese breed dog from Serra da Estrela is the best. When we come back we will stay here again. Highly recommended.

Set in Ardevon, Le Clos Saint-Gilles is 8 km far from Le Mont Saint Michel. It features a sun terrace and views of the large garden. Free private parking is available on site. The breakfast was exquisite. Much of the food was homemade or made near the propety. The proprietor explained where everything came from. We had fresh eggs with breads, cheeses, homemade apple tart, tea and pressed coffee. The house is an old rennovated farmhouse so the ambience is great.
