Takao-san and his partner were amazing hosts that helped us every step of the way, even for reccomendations for which mountains and restuarants to head to (they even took the effort to call and make additional reservations) We booked the mobile home, which was incredibly modern, clean and sleek, 10/10 reccomend. There was also an onsen, which is fantastic after a hard day on the slopes

They were the best to made us feel so welcomed ❤️ Though, there was abit of a hike up if you’re walking to the hotel, but the view was amazing and there were snow monkeys nearby too! Breakfast was amazing and the property were so beautiful. The hotel has really nice outdoor bath and indoor bath, as well as private bath too for additional charges. Love their idea in providing free points(exchange with some items) for not requesting to make up our rooms! Would love to be back again!

Wall to climb and Hamac in the room... Japanese style room..tatami...super comfortable...we slept great...taking of shoes inside... There is a tree house, and a small train for children on property...and city parks not even 5 minutes walking... in car, accessible to a lot of activities... matsumoto castle, alpine park... land lord speaks English...really clean. Oh you need to press a button to turn on warm water... a bit before taking a bath. Nice staff...helpful...

Great spot to stay for a ryokan experience but also easy to stay with my parents who aren't used to a more traditional Japanese style housing
