Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

This is one of the best locations I’ve visited so far. Situated in a very remote area where there’s limited access to outer world. You have to take a basic nature trail to reach the destination which my family enjoyed much. once you entered the premises it’s like you stepped into another country. Very calm and peaceful environment so we need to adopt to the destination. I recommend this place to all nature lovers who look for places where you can blend with nature. Limited electricity so prepare yourself with backups. (power banks, flashlights, ect)

We stayed for two nights and went on a six hour safari tour with the hotel. We really enjoyed the safari and our guide, Nisal, was so friendly and good at spotting the animals. An amazing day. The rooms are nice and clean, and has that “safari vibe”. We loved the outdoor bathroom and showering under open sky. We enjoyed the pool and the surroundings :-)

An exceptional stay in a well kept and sprawling property with friendly and accommodating staff and affordable and comfortable lodging options. A unique glamping experience where we enjoyed watching monkey mischief while relaxing by the pool, strolled through the manicured grounds and ate delicious meals from a wide ranging menu. The informative staff at the front desk assisted us with booking our 5:30am, 3.5 hour safari tour that afforded us the opportunity to watch the sun rise over Udawalawe park to the soundtrack of bird song. Our excellent guide, Nishante, pointed out a ton of animals with his eagle eye, two species of which we also saw. Highly recommend Kottawatta Village to anyone looking for a unique experience, surrounded by beautiful nature with the possibility to upgrade to luxurious options if so desired. A truly memorable experience!

Rakwana Nehri manzarasına sahip bu tesis, Elephant Transit Home'a sadece 3 km mesafededir. Tesisin kulübe tarzındaki konaklama birimleri özel verandaya sahiptir. Birimler yeşilliklerle çevrilidir. The hotel was a great experience for us. We upgraded our room and got a tent with a patio with a view over the lake, and it was the best. The tent is very nice and clean, the bathroom is big and clean, and the staff is very kind and helpful with everything. We had drinks and lunch on the patio, while looking at birds and monkeys in the trees over the river (tip: bring some binoculars. We used ours alot looking at many different birds). The food is very good and the surroundings while eating are so nice. We booked our safari tour through the hotel, on booking.com, and when we asked the staff what time was best to go they said at 5.30 in the morning. And they were very correct. We had a jeep to ourselves. Our safari driver was so fun, nice and very observant. He was fast at driving (but still careful) and running (into the ticket office), so we were the very first to enter the park and within 10 seconds we saw two pregnant elephants and a wild boar with babies! We had around 5-10 minutes with them alone before a few other cars came, and it was a great experience. Our driver took us places where there were no other cars to see elephants, crocodiles, tucan birds, deers and many more animals. We felt like we were completely alone in the park. He could tell us many facts about animals and was very eager to show us how beautiful the park was. He also made sure that we felt that we had seen enough and satisfied with the tour, and we really were. This experience is something we will never forget, and the hotel and safari is definitely something we want to come back to.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Friendly staff, clean camp, and excellent amenities. Highly recommended

Featuring carpet flooring, tents come with an outdoor living area and a private bathroom with hot-water showers. Includes a torch, umbrellas and a luggage rack. The manager of the camp was extremely kind and available to chat, to show us around. The tent are perfect: very big and with all the services you might want. The food was very good. We had the best experience. Couldn’t ask for anything different!
