Former Mansion with extensive grounds which have now been turned into a Golf Course. yes for the Golfers among us its heaven. You can literally roll out of bed and on to the Golf Course.

The hotel is very charming with characterful period rooms and well maintained. I love the bar area with views through the massive Georgian windows onto the rolling golf course. The beds are very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Our 7 and 9 year old sons love the comfy beds and really enjoyed the children's menu in the restaurant.

It is a grand building and seems to be mid-renovation. This meant that one of our two rooms was newly refurbished whilst the second, was a little tired. I really appreciated being asked about the stay on checking out and the Manager was interested in the feedback.
