Room was lovely, very well done and they had Netflix which we needed as weather was awful on arrival day. View is lovely from atop the hill and on leaving we could see the waterfall behind which would have been nice to walk to if time. Location to glacier lagoon is great, worked will for us with a glacier tour from there in the morning. Nothing really else around, had to drive about 10 min to find a place for dinner. Breakfast option at lagoon cafe.

The rooms are spacious, the surrounding area is beautiful, the property is v easy to find. It’s very clean, there’s an all-time access to a kettle and common area. Breakfast was included and oh boy was it a treat! Waffles were a nice touch!

The guesthouse is next to the Glacier Adventures and this is perfect for visiting the Ice Cave in Breiðamerkurjökull.

The shared kitchen is very cozy and was clean at all times, also a nice place to meet people and sit together in the evening - met some really nice people here! Cute little barn that was transformed to a restaurant/cafe just next door, as well as the tour operator Glacier Adventures (amazing glacier hikes, ask for Janet when booking - she is amazing). Highly recommended!
