The room was aaaaamazing! Wish I could stay longer just to count all the cards! ✨😌✨ Luckily I was able to buy some from the host, great souvenir 🫠 The location was incredible, you get views of Beppu, sea, mountains - day and night! If you book a solo room you get this from your balcony and if not then there is a little observatory point just a short walk up the hill ✨😌✨It is a short (and scenic) walk away from some great onsens, food places, shops & the hells 🤘 Facilities... It was my second week of travelling and at Omoloso my first night was the first night of good sleep I got! So comfy with a cricket orchestra in the background! The second night was one of best nights sleep I've had, period, after an onsen trip 😴 Omoloso was so far by far the highlight, I could finally relax!!! 💓 I wish I booked more time in Beppu and Omoloso! ✨ The hosts were so helpful and inviting from the moment I set foot on the property to the moment I got waved bye driving away in the taxi they helped me book! Thank you!!!

The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful! The common room was spacious, quiet and stylish and they had coffee, tea, milk and so on. Our room was huge, clean and comfortable and when my friend left they let me stay in the same room even though I was supposed to move to a bed in the dormitory. On the last day, they kept my bag until I came back before going to the airport.

For such a good price you get a traditional Japanese apartment all for yourself! It was clean, comfortable and cozy. There is no shower, but they give you towels to use in public baths (and there are tons of them around). Speaking of which, the location is amazing, it's in the coolest area of Beppu where steam is coming out of the ground on the streets. There is a big popular onsen in 5 minute walk and smaller ones just around the corner. The owner was very nice and told me about the best onsens and sightseeing spots in the area.
