Wonderful traditional alpine hotel with modernized facilities that still preserves the historic character of the building. The breakfast was excellent. I was particularly impressed with the COVID-19 protocols - gloves (provided) and masks required at the breakfast buffet, for example. Overall an outstanding stay - I will return.

The Historik Hotel Gotisches Haus garni is a restored 13th-century building, with a romantic, historic atmosphere and charming rooms, full of character. All rooms feature antique marble bathrooms with corner bathtubs for 2 people, and views over the medieval town. Central location in the lovely town of Rothenburg close to many shops and cafes. Very friendly and helpful staff gave us good advise about car parking and luggage drop off at hotel. Lovely old building and quirky room with a huge bathroom and corner bath. Fresh food selection for breakfast Slept very well and had 2 very enjoyable days in Rothenburg.
