It was truly a pleasure to stay in this 110 year old traditional Japanese house. There were no other guests at the time and we had the whole house to ourselves. The house is tastefully furnished and there is even a new trail bicycle available for guests. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. He offered to make reservations for us at a local restaurant and even drove us (at a time that best suited us) to the trailhead for our hike at Magome.

We needed a little break from big, crowded cities, so we decided to visit Gifu and we had the best time! The hosts were extremely kind and their hospitality made our stay even better. We got to try sleeping on futons and also got bikes from them to go around the city. Also, their dog is the cutest but don't worry if you don't like dogs, she has her little house and you don't really need to interact with her. ❤️

The mid-century furniture and beautiful ceramics on display made the accommodation feel very peaceful and homely. The doors opened up onto a peaceful garden with a creek running through it. Will definitely return next time we are in Japan. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

The location of the hostel is pretty close to the station and very convenient. In the lobby, they offer warm Japanese tea for free. And the public area is also comfortable and can communicate with other travelers if you want. The room and bed are clean and warm, with tatami usage and traditional Japanese style. It is a special experience. The hostel owener is also friendly, and kind to offer detailed tourism information for the traveler. Wonderful accommodation memory! :)

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We stayed for one night during the Takayama festival as a couple but it can accommodate more guests. The open-air bath was fun and easy to use with privacy.

Tọa lạc cách Tổng lãnh sự quán Brazil tại Florence 21 km và Sân vận động Kaohsiung Fengshan Stadium 41 km, GUESTHOUSE YANAGIYA nằm ở Magome, Nakatsugawa. this is the perfect stay in mag stay in magma. our host was incredibly friendly and made our stay very comfortable, giving us recommendations on where to eat and what to do during our stay. he also booked us a dinner spot at a local Michelin recommended restaurant we would have never found without him. the dinner was a chef private course and is highly recommended. the room was huge and felt very cozy. the shower and washing machine were a great delight to use. very clean and comfy. the location could have not been more perfect. right in the center of old-town magome. being able to walk alone on the streets in the morning before the first bus arrives is a truly priceless experience we had thanks to our stay here. would stay again!
