We liked a lot that the enire house including cozy yard with barbecue is only for us, very remote, calm and relaxing thing) though you still can use the common area of the main property - Villa Harmonie- beautiful garden and pool. Here you will have a very good rest, because the place is far away from roads, industrial sounds , construction, etc , so only sounds of birds singing, wind blowing :). The hosts are very caring and friendly, they explain very well how to get to property, always in touch in case of questions, allowed us to use common places after check out time, as our flight was in the late evening. The sceneries and sunset are absolutely astonishing. The night sleep is very good - the bedroom is equipped with aircon and fan, so it is enough to have comfortable temperature. And beds are also comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen so you can cook if not feeling in mood to drive to cafe/resto. The property also offers to use their kayaks for free, but we never tried as we woke up always a bit later, than it will be comfortable to do kayaking due to hot sun :) though it should be very intersting on a sunrise , because all the area is mangroves with a lot of wildlife, we even saw once a dear jumping in water . The property offers two showers - inside (with hot water) and outside in garden under palm :) - with warm water The photos of the property on booking are correct, it s the same nice as on the photos. So we are highly recommending this beautiful place to everybody who wants to escape from crazyness of big cities and spend some days in little paradise.

As part od COVID-19 preparedness the property offers check-in in villa, breakfast served in villa, assistance over the phone,a private pool and garden.

Enjoy a Villa with private pool up to 13 times larger than a hotel room.

Villas are located in gated community and are on separately guarded street and have private entrance. Outdoors are well designed and maintained. Villas are new and have contemporary design. Our villa nr 1 was smaller and had 3 bedrooms. Bathrooms are great. Beds were really comfy and sleep quality was excellent - bedrooms had new AC-s so the room temperature was cool and quiet. I loved first/ground floor layout. There where also all appliances (dishwasher, washer, microwave, nescafe coffee maker etc) so it was easy to cook and clean. Villa has new freezer with ice maker - huge pro in the tropics!!! Villa had a sizeable pool which was children's favourite. There is nice covered rest area sou you do not have to be on sunshine all the time. Villa had good Wifi and cable TV - TV is also in the master bedroom. Supermarket (London Way) is around the corner and bakery, wineshops and Nescafe shop are in walking distance. Lot of good restaurants are near. Happy Rajah - Indian (good food and cocktails, excellent service), Frenchie Cafe - international (best food - try tuna and lobster), NOMAD (burgers and meat, no alcohol - kids playroom), Vanilla Village (hipster place, no alcohol but BYOB - kids playroom), Roma Pizza (they deliver no extra fee to the villa)

You will surely get better villas in Mauritius but definitely not at that price. You can also find cheaper but the standard will be far behind. Perfect for group or family, very good value for money. Also close to beach, supermarket and restaurant, all at walking distance. Try Happy Rajah.

    Beautiful garden and right on the beach, this location is fantastic. It is a budget hotel and I think it offers good value for money. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A trash bin in the room would have been helpful (although there was one in the bathroom) and we didn't get a hand towel in the bathroom, although there were two bath towels and a bath mat.

    The location and sea view was amazing with a view to le morne. The room was very clean and comfortable. A special thank you to the staff particularly Sam, Varan, Dillon and Oliver. They are friendly and welcoming and certainly make la mariposa all the more special.

    We loved the property and the warm host. The pictures are underrated. It's a beautiful, peaceful and very clean property. Modern, new apartment .Has all your basic needs and beyond! You don't need to go anywhere. Just relax here! The pool area has amazing view and the location is walking distance to some amazing water excursions.

    We really enjoyed staying at Villa Paille en Queue with its beautiful garden and the heated pool. The house is very clean and equipped with everything you might need. The owners Jacques and Josée warmly welcomed us and were always available when needed. They even booked a table at a nice restaurant for us :) The location is also great if you want to explore the island. We would definitely recommend this place (also to a bigger group of friends)!

    The place is great for holidays! The apartment is very clean and has everything you need to stay in the area, like swimming pool and bbq. But also, it provide you with portable fridge and towels if you want to go to the beach. The kitchen was very well equipped, and it has a very good laundry machine.

    La Gaulette is a really nice place with nice restaurants nearby it i a very short drive to le morne beach and the famous kite spot. The apartement is located right next to the sea. the terrace gives wonderful views on the sea, sunset, village and even le morne mountain the host is wonderful, friendly and helpful all very clean & new perfect for a couple
