All accommodation includes a kitchenette, air conditioning and a TV with DVD player. Loved our cottage! The location was awesome and private. So clean and comfortable, and the ocean view was great! Enjoyed walking the beach and picking shells. Check-in was easy and the manager was so friendly and welcoming!

The property was spotless clean, the shared kitchen was MASSIVE with full facilities, and the roads were aptly named, gave us a chuckle!

The location up on Coromandel Peninsula is simply beautiful. We walked across the road to the rocky beach for sunset each evening, where you could hear a pin drop, very peaceful! This is a lodge that caters to campers as well as folks renting kitchenette rooms, like us. People come here for the fishing, and I heard it was very good. If we had stayed another day, it would have been fun to go out on a charter boat for a day of fishing. We went on excursions each day, one was to hike the Coromandel Coastal Walkway, just fantastic. There is no shortage of fun things to see and do here. You do have to bring groceries with you, as there is no restaurant nearby.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way).

Not all accommodation has a lounge area, sofa, TV. Fantastic trip. Access to the beach and the hiking trails couldn’t be better, only steps away.

Located opposite Estuary Beach, Harbourside Holiday Park offers an outdoor seasonal swimming pool, a children's playground and a BBQ area with picnic tables. It is 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Whitianga. Location, room was spacious for two, clean all round

When you’re ready for action, put on your hiking shoes or bike helmet and hit the fabulous walking and cycling trails, with stops along the way at heritage parks, swimming spots and cafes serving scrumptious local produce. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. The cabin was impeccably clean and the hot tub is world class. Right next to the beach and full of friendly people. We will definitely be back.
