The property was very safe, set back off the road. The room was big and the bed was comfortable, with a nice patio to sit out on in the evening. Host cooked a great breakfast and was very friendly, really enjoyed my stay here.

Wow this was a super gem that looked and felt like a great 4-star hotel with all the comfort one needs during travel without the excessive prices charged by other hotels. I really appreciated that the hotel took in all the feedback made in the past reviews - wifi now works great, there's a fan in the rooms, there are clothes hangers, there's a nook in the shower area for the toiletries, everything is super clean and organized, light switches are right beside the bed, there's a night table with a charging point, beds are comfortable. These little details and willingness to continuously improve are what sets a hotel apart. Don't be fooled by the alleyway into the hotel. It looks dingy but it's super safe even at night for a girl travelling alone. You pass by local and stores so there's sound and light all around. The instructions to get there are super clear, and once you exit the alleyway, you're right in the heart of Calle Santander, the main street. The owner's son, who manages the operations, is very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed chatting with him and he was flexible when I needed to leave my room slightly later due to traffic. You can pay with credit card without extra charge. This is definitely my go-to hotel the next time I'm back in Pana.

The hostel is very close to the ferries which was great for us,! We arrived pretty late because our shuttle from Antigua was late as well but that was no problem at all. We booked our shuttle to Flores with the hostel which worked really well and got a reciept and a ticket for the night bus. The room was very clean and so were the shared bathrooms. The owner was really lovely and we felt very safe here.
