Very centrally located hostel in Santa Teresa with very spacious, large bed, airconditioned dorms. Super nice to have such a big space even in a dorm. Big kitchen, so even cooking with multiple people at the same time was not a problem. A tuna party was organized with fresh tuna, it was super yummy! Marco is incredible kind and will do all to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. It was raining so much for a few days and we got some water coming through on the floor. We all helped him to get the water out and he offered us a beer for our help and teamwork 👍💪. Recommend!

Located in Santa Teresa Beach, within 300 metres of Carmen Beach and 400 metres of Santa Teresa Beach, Hostel Tuanis Surf Camp provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The property is set 2.8 km from Mar Azul, 14 km from Montezuma Waterfal and 39 km from Tortuga Island. Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a garden view.

The host is a very warm and welcoming local and just started this hotel together with his wife. As a fisherman you also get to know his hobby if you like. The kitchen open to the jungle is a very nice natural place, you got lockers, surfboards racks, outdoor showers, towels and locks for small rent and a sufficient and clean kitchen equipment. It is not central in Santa Teresa but directly to playa carmen where you have supermarkets, surf and atv rentals and the beach to reach in 2 minutes. Overall a very good stay and highly recommended.

The best hostel I have stayed in. Ever. Apart from the perfect location with regards to the beach and supermarket, the atmosphere of the hostel was magical. I formed some long-lasting connections with people all over the globe - it definitely encouraged a strong sense of creating a travelling family! The design of the kitchen and other communal areas made me want to always be lounging around in the space - very spacious and comforting. Beautiful plants everywhere which made the hostel feel peaceful and secluded. The volunteers and owners were another lovely addition I wasn't expecting - genuinely good people (with good taste in music too). I could've spent several months just in this hostel and this area - I never got bored of the vibe.

Mini Hostel Santa Teresa is located 100 metres from the surf break and beach in Santa Teresa. Surrounded by tropical gardens, it features a swimming pool, shared kitchen and free WiFi in communal areas.

The property’s rustic dormitory rooms include a shared bathroom. Guests also have the option of a rustic bungalow or a private room.

Nice location, a bit off the main road so very quiet. Great pool to hang out. There are 2 well equipt kitchens availabe - the big one had 3 fridges so there is enough space for everyone. Also there was always salt and oil available. Nice pool to cool off - there was always a corner of the pool in the shade which was great. The 2 girls working/volunteering while our stay were so nice and helpful. There are two supermarkets very close, also just on the corner to the main street there is a surfshop to hire surfboards for a good price ($12 for 24h). There was plenty of room to store the surfboards at the Hostel and the beach is also less than 5 minutes away. We stayed for 8 nights and loved our stay.

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The ‘beach house’ is definitely something you wouldn’t typically find in a hostel and has possibly one of the best locations in Santa Teresa. Highly recommended to get assigned a room there as it feels more like an independent ‘airbnb’ and one of my best hostel experiences ever

Loved everything about my stay at Ventura. It all looks just like the photos and great location very close to the beach. Roy, David, and Joel on the front desk were super helpful and I felt very safe.

I like that they have cheap surfboards for rent and that the layout of the hostel would be nice, if it were properly managed.

Marco was very nice and helpful. The beds are amazing (double sized bunk beds) and were very clean. Very chill but still social vibe. Across from Selina North and close to the best surf beach of Santa Teresa. I visited when it was very new so a few things missed but I think these things will soon come! Till now one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had so far!!

The hostel felt like home. The communal outdoor kitchen was a great place to gather, have a laugh, and share some drinks. I would recommend the surf lessons a 100%. You can tell, Marcus is very passionate as well as all the other instructors (Ruddy, Luis, Oscar). They made us feel safe and have a wonderful time. I only booked to nights, but ended up staying for 9 days! I would fully recommend the Hostel, especially for Backpackers, as you will meet many wonderful travelers in the dorm. Also the price-performance ratio is unbeatable.
