The property is so clean and the room was delightful. Bed was comfortable, and the pillow was the best I ever had when sleeping outside the home. I also got a chance to take a sauna, a pleasant surprise on a Sunday evening! And, in the sauna toiletries and bathrobe are provided by the house. Susanna was the most excellent host!

Among the facilities at this small and peaceful family-owned hostel are a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel features family rooms. The hostel is located in the city center of Helsinki, just 2 minutes from the central station. The rooms are super clean and the beds are really comfortable. There are a kettle, a microwave, cups and cutlery for the guests. The reception is almost always unstaffed but it wasn't a problem for me since they left the key on the table before my arrival. Super value for money.

Bathroom facilities at The Yard Hostel are shared. Amazing room for someone who is travelling solo. I stayed at the female's room which was very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I highly recommend booking in here if your going to visit Helsink, as you will be able to explore the city by foot.

The hostel offers a 24-hour reception and security lockers. Bed linen is included in room prices. Guests can relax and socialize in the common room. Not that far from the train station. It’s old building but with good heating system so you will not be cold. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Staff was very helpfull and you can store there your luggages before check in and after check out.

A private bathroom with shower is standard in all rooms at Linnasmäki Hostel. Some rooms include a TV and a kitchenette with a stove, fridge and coffee maker. The check-in process was very simple, there is a reception shared with the hotel. Every room has a booklet explaining all the features of the stay: the laundry, the kitchen, the gym, the wifi, the restaurant and so on. The room was very spacious offering two desks with chairs and two single beds and even a private bathroom. Everything was very clean. The view from my window was very nice, with green trees. The common kitchen and living room are spacious and have a lot of light. It was possible to cook there and use the fridge. I would totally recommend this hostel, not only for solo travelers and friends, but also for families. I had the impression that the is a lot to do in the nature in the surrounds of the hotel. For more "city-oriented" tourists there were buses to the city center not too far from the property.

Located on Helsinki’s Katajanokka island, surrounded by the sea, this hostel is a 5-minute tram ride from the city centre. Vyökatu Tram Stop is just around the corner. The Viking Line ferry terminal and Kauppatori Market Square are few minutes' walk away. Also other interesting sights are close by. Perfect location , easy to get to Market Square & center Friendly staff Loved the birds chirping in the bathrooms Felt super safe as a alone traveler 24/7 reception was a plus for my very late check in
