We are a family that believes in the power of community. After years of working in our local communities and having the privilege of working with, for and side by side with others and realized how nature grounds us and brings us back to connection with ourselves and with our family. We began to dream about how we could get the beauty of community intertwined with nature for the purpose of reconnection, growth and inspiration. Our vision became reality after we landed upon North Frontenac Lodge. We welcome and are inspired by our guests who share their journeys and stories with us. Our ultimate desire is to help support the expectations of every guest who joins us at North Frontenac Lodge. A Cozy Pine Cottage... …waits for you on the northwest side of North Frontenac Lodge. The Juniper Cabin on Mosque Lake is the perfect location for a unique experience with your family and friends. With a dock on Mosque Lake, just fifty steps away from your front door, perfect to dive off and go for a swim, or to enjoy the morning shade and the afternoon sunshine. Canoes and kayaks are available and free for all guests to share and go explore the islands and the secrets of Mosque Lake. If you're joining us in the Fall or Winter, adventures await. Hiking trails, ice fishing outside your door, snowshoeing, have a winter picnic on one of the stunning islands on the lake. Many possibilities to enjoy the calm and beauty of a northern winter. This cabin is a peaceful space to enjoy nature and relax during the day, and perfect to sit around the fire at night to admire the starry sky. Juniper offers bright spaces with high ceilings and large windows; three beds within two rooms, outdoor sitting, a barbecue, a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, a fire pit, and plenty of free parking.

Juniper Cabin is tucked away in serenity, with a handful of quaint opportunities to explore in the surrounding spaces. -Palmerston Marina is 10 minutes from the cottage offering a selection of grocery items, gas, or treat your crew for an ice cream delight! - The LCBO and grocery market are 15 minutes away. -The Shamrock Bakery is 15 minutes away- if you’re lucky enough to be here between Thursday and Sunday- than this destination is a must! -The Dark Sky Preserve in North Frontenac is a 20 minute drive and offers you the opportunity to explore some of the darkest skies in southern Ontario. The cottage is located off the main road. The cottage road is winding and has a few blind hills- so drive slow and stick to the right when going over the hills. Winter access requires AWD or 4WD equipped vehicles.
