We manage Öxl for the owners who, amongst us are really enthusiastic about making this place a perfect accommodation for our guests.

Property information

Öxl property is a 485 hectare farm in the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 2 hours drive from Reykjavik. It has a unique view over the nature reserve of Búðahraun lava field, the North Atlantic ocean, Bjarnarfoss waterfall and Snæfellsjökull glacier. The Snæfellsjökull national park is 20 minutes drive away. Öxl is a private accommodation offering a stay in a spectacular landscape. Enjoy the quietness of Iceland surrounded by nature, mountains, the sea, and the Northern lights if the skies are clear.

Neighbourhood information

It has a unique view over the nature reserve of Búðahraun lava field, the North Atlantic ocean, Bjarnarfoss waterfall and the Snæfellsjökull glacier. The Snæfellsjökull national park is 20 minutes drive away. The street (country road) is next to the highway, you won´t miss it, it´s called Útnesvegur. You drive that road for couple of minutes and you´ll find the house. Enough parking space for free.
