"Lakeside Home" is located in a quiet Masurian village of Ławki by the Szymonek Lake, on a 3500m2 land overlooking the lake and forest. The house offers cosy furnished rooms with free wifi, a spacious kitchen and dining room. There is a terrace with a hot tub and sauna as well as a large garden with a fireplace and barbecue equipment. The house is located 5 km from Ryn. It is possible to get fresh eggs straight from our friends at a nearby farm. More information about this will be provided on site.
The guests shall be greeted by miss Marta which will introduce the different facilities and amenities of the house, pass the keys and provide touristic information about the region.
The house is located in the middle of the great Masurian lakes trail. All the main resort towns described below can be reached comfortably by car within 30 minutes, bicycle or even boats. There are all kinds of events happening in those towns which we can provide information about. Five kilometers from the house is a small, picturesque port town called Ryn, located between two lakes. There is a 14th century castle overlooking the town built by the Teutonic Order, which houses a hotel and restaurant with contemporary polish cuisine. Mikołajki, one of the most beautiful resort towns in the region, offers a variety of great restaurants with historical houses overlooking the port and the boulevard. Giżycko is the biggest town of the region. Its environs have the largest number of lakes in the country, covering nearly 12 percent of the total land area. It has the biggest port in the region as well as numerous historical monuments including a 14th-century Teutonic castle, a 19th-century fortress and one of the few remaining swing bridges in the world. Lake Ławki is located around 8 minutes by foot from the house which is perfectly suited for swimming and fishing.
