Gets its name from the renovation of several older buildings. Wine and cheese every night in the lounge area. Rooms are spacious, well appointed with small kitchenette and complimentary sodas and sparkling water, cheese and crackers in the refrig. We've stayed here before and will stay here again. Highly recommend

Located in North Augusta, 3.6 km from Augusta Museum of History, Lookaway Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. We stayed at this lovely inn en route eastwards and wished we had stayed more than one night. Our room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. John was great to deal with, very pleasant and helpful. He recommended a local restaurant which was excellent. The breakfast was good: fresh fruit; cereal; yogurts; bakery items and eggs cooked to order. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The staff was friendly , fun and knowledgeable The breakfast was good , and the wine and cheese each afternoon a lovely touch. We enjoyed the courtyard a great opportunity to meet fellow travelers. Thr location is very good . Centrally located making it easy to walk around the city.

This luxury South Carolina inn is in the heart of Charleston’s historic district on Meeting Street and 42 m from Market Street. We liked its location. So close to everything downtown but still quiet. They supplied more than expected for breakfast. The staff, especially Stacy, were very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Very small pool with bubble jets.

We were in a cottage rather than the old building. Absolutely beautiful room and facilities, lovely private balcony with rocking chairs. Outside communal areas with fire pits and sofas. Location perfect and breakfast vouchers for a fantastic diner across the road. Would love to return.
