Great experience interesting bartering which you must do as to achieve a reasonable price. As a guide always half what they say or ask and try to get a little under half to achieve fair price for both parties.

The facade is beautiful, but it's not a place for seasoned travellers - it's a tourist trap because it's iconic and more for people who are looking for a great bargain and designer knockoffs.

Horrendously overpriced (more than 300%) compared to markets in the area selling the same items.
Very pushy stall owners.
You can get much better quality for less within walking distance.
Go look around, but know that you will be overpaying

Most items are overpriced and if you 1/2 the price you still endup paying too much for it. Better go with a local. Do not touch items that you wnt to buy. You can stand away and look but do not touch. The sellers are trying grabbing you for it. I am a Vietnamese person and I feel really bad about this market . Hot and you are

This is not really a place that a person from a developed country would feel comfortable in. The pictures are very well taken and do not accurately reflect the reality of the space. It is a local market for the lower socio economic population. It is also very far away from the main drag. Would not recommend.

Great place to shop, just be prepared for overcrowded shops, loud voices and lots of bartering. Make sure the items you purchased are the exact items that go into your carry bag. Have had a couple of 'switcheroos' previously when I wasn't properly looking 😀

near Ben Thanh Market, Bui Vien Walking Street, and Nguyen Hue Walking Street was fantastic. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient to explore the vibrant heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, providing a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm welcome and excellent service throughout my stay
The hotel interiors were exactly what is advertised in the common areas. Room interiors are different depending what room you book for. The staff was friendly and great attending guests needs. The location is right next to Ben Thanh market, wonderful city views from my room. The arts and decor are truly amazing combining traditional and modern elements.
The location is extremely central in D1, you're steps from Ben Thanh Market and about 5-10 minutes walk to all the big shops like designers, H&M, Zara, Uniqlo. Plenty of great places to eat, bars and beauty spas within walking distance too. The hotel itself has had a great refurb and the rooftop restaurant and pool are nice.
The location was great — right in the heart of District 1 and within walking distance of Ben Thanh Market. The apartment had everything you needed — from kitchen utensils to an iron. The furnishings all seemed new and the AC worked great (something you need in Ho Chi Minh given how hot it is outside). We got a two-bedroom apartment and were super happy with it.
This hotel is right in the heart of district 1, walking distance from Ben Thanh markets and walking street. The staff is amazing here! The friendliest and most welcoming experience I've had at any hotel in Vietnam! This is my 2nd time coming back to Diamond luxury I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, nice hotel in the heart of the city.
D1Mension Apartment's central location near City Museum of Fine Arts, the Opera House, and Ben Thanh Market made exploring Ho Chi Minh City a joy. The spacious balcony was a bonus for unwinding in the evenings with a view of the vibrant city lights.
This place is just awesome! Room is super spacious and clean and well maintained. Walking distance to Vincom Centre , Ben Thanh market, and Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon. It’s a super small boutique hotel service apartment type of place with only 5floors and 10 rooms. Staff support was great and I would like to personally thanks to Lucky for all your help during our stay
the location is near to Ben Thanh market and halal street food (just 300 m or so, so I can go by walk to some halal restaurant), and sample some delicious halal Vietnamese food such as pho ga, pho bo, spring rolls etc. To go to some tourist attraction is also easy, by online taxi or walk! It is a good choice for us whom the main goal is to enjoy the HCMC and not to splurge on our budget to stay at a 5-star hotel.

What Guests Said About Ben Thanh Market:
Opposite the Ben Thanh market and opposite the HCMC Fine Arts Museum is a brilliant street to buy antiques
If you decide to go to the Ben Thanh market, be prepared to have you bargaining hat on. Everyone is friendly but there's a lot of grabbing and there is no air conditioning so it can be a bit overwhelming. Be comfortable with the currency conversion too so you can definitely grab some real bargains on souvenirs to take home; especially things like coffee and decorative lanterns and furniture. Opposite the Ben Thanh market and opposite the HCMC Fine Arts Museum is a brilliant street to buy antiques.
