We liked everything! There was a small waterfall behind the cottage, so when we opened the window a little, we could hear that relaxing sound. The heating was excellent and the bed very comfortable. We were lucky to see the white landscape, covered with a lot of snow and the next day it had already melted so we could see the green of the mountains and meadows, a completely different landscape. It was wonderful to see the starry sky from the comfort of the small living room of the cottage thanks to its large windows. We would definitely stay here again even though it can be a bit expensive.

The room and bathroom were decorated beautifully. We also got to see the northern lights right outside the lodge. There was also a younger staff member with blonde hair who is very kind and helpful.

Beautiful room, great location, good breakfast. We were traveling with our dog and they provided us with a room closest to the door for the best accessibility and made us feel very welcome, which is not always the case when traveling with pets in Iceland.
