The hotel is very close to Gisenyi (a short taxi ride away), it has a stunning garden, and incredible views overlooking Lake Kivu. The rooms are superb, and the intricate wood carving on the doors, and their surround, is indicative of incredible skill and craftmanship. Each room has a balcony overlooking the garden and Lake Kivu. The staff were very friendly, and could not do enough to help us. The food in the restaurant was delicious, whilst taking in the views again over Lake Kivu too. We went into Gisenyi, and popped into one of the cocktail bars on the shoreline. Instead of getting a road taxi back, we took the boat back across Lake Kivu to the hotel, via the methane plant along the DRC border. You have to try this. We also took the opportunity to visit a local community coffee plantation which is nearby by taxi. Had a talk on the growing of coffee, saw the coffee beans being dehusked by hand, then roasted in front of us by hand, pounded manually into coffee powder, then followed by a delicious coffee being served. What an experience, and well worth a visit. A must visit, must stay hotel in our view.

Garden!! The setting is idyllic with rabbits & a variety of birds roaming the property. The trees are very tall with fresh mangoes & plenty of shade from the sun. The rooms are neat & tidy without frills - just clean with comfy beds and plenty of room to store our bags. The host, Jean Pierre, has transformed his family home into a unique spot for budget guests to sleep deeply & relax with friends. The guesthouse is near a variety of restaurants with beaches & close to town. Whether walking or taking a moto, it's easy to get around. The host can arrange a taxi, too. We ordered a celebration dinner that was made by a professional chef AND it was delicious!! There's a variety of beverages available - sodas, beers, African Tea, & coffee. Breakfast was simple & tasty, but not included in the Bnb fee. Wi-Fi is super fast, just in case you need to work or post a pic on social media! Very safe & highly recommended for business & pleasure - we used the garden for both!

I believe this is the most stunning lodge I have ever visited. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the rooms to the staff. I cannot praise the staff highly enough; they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and engaging in conversation. They truly are the heart of this lodge. Additionally, what I loved most was the fireplace, which adds a unique touch. The decoration was also exceptional, displaying a great deal of taste and modernity Merci beaucoup, je reviendrai :-)

It was like a little paradise. The view was amazing, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. We stopped for a small break and to relax in our round trip of Rwanda and it was worth it. We also had some car trouble not far from the lodge and Emmanuel, who works at Inzu Lodge, came right away to our aid.

The scenery of Inzu Lodge was amazing. It was amazing if you just want to read a book while enjoying the beautiful view, whether sitting in front of your tent or at the restaurant. Also the food at the restaurant was really good.

Really comfortable lodge at a stunning location: very lush and green gardens and beautiful view over lake Kivu, with the opportunity to swim. Our room was very comfi and had a great view of the lake. Great communicatuon with the reception, host made sure to call us in advance when we were going to arrive in the evening so that dinner could be prepared for us.

Best price-performanxe ratio during my trip through Rwanda/Uganda. The lodge has a beautiful garden, the room was big and clean and the breakfast was exceptional. The Guesthouse is a 7min stroll from Lake Kivu (takes about 15-20 min to the public beach).
