This hotel is fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly! After we checked out, we did a hike to the Bisoke. It was super muddy that day, so I was super dirty when returning from the hike. As I needed to head back to Kigali on the same day, I phoned the hotel and asked if I could take a quick shower, and they accepted immediately!

The lodge itself has a lovely vibe and it's in a perfect location for accessing the park and exploring the area. Would return in a heart beat.

The food was exceptional and the staff were delightful. It was also a very cozy sleep. The location is just a short walk from the Dian Fossey museum and close to the beauty of the national park. We came in late (much later than expected) at around 11pm at night and they were waiting us and still prepared dinner at our choice. Took all efforts to make the central areas as well as the lodge nicely warm with open fireplace and even hot-water bottle in the beds to warm it up (at night it's pretty fresh there). Excellent, very friendly, caretaking staff. all to highest satisfaction. Very romantic place for couples.MichaelYoung couple
