From the minute I walked into this place, it felt like family. While very comfortable, the property is not 5 star, however the staff are 5 star plus some. I've travelled a bit and have never had service like this place anywhere else in the world. The room was a good size and clean, the food prepared by the chefs was amazing, the outdoor areas were comfortable, the tours were arranged by Haji and Abu for a good price and anytime I needed to go somewhere, I just had to ask. Abu was fabulous company on the long drives. I would not hesitate to recommend Mkeka Lodge to anyone who is looking for accommodation in Zanzibar. Thanks guys for a memorable holiday..! 💗💗

I stayed at Evergreen for 1 month and I really can say that I felt as I was home (even better). The staff and the owners are very helpful and the food is amazing. Bottom line, Evergreen is an authentic Zanzibar experience that I would recommend to everyone.

Blue Earth Bungalow was a hidden gem if you like an inexpensive, rustic environment, no crowds or tourists, then this is the place for you. The workers got you anything that you needed and we're very helpful at all times. This place while a little hard to find but it was right on the beach. Lots of good local restaurants with good traditional food.

If there has 6 star avaliable. I will give to it. The pool its being clean every morning. kitchen its open for use and the roof patio its lovely to relax, either for read or do yoga. The decoration of room its very modern and funished. Love the mattress and pillow. Able to get well relax at night. There has small beautiful garden at the Lodge to walk around. They have the knowledable taxi driver and we felt very fortune to be able to do tour with him. The Lodge its close to the beach, and easy access to shop and restaurant. Safe to walk around in the night. Thomas its lovely host. He solve problem efficently. Organize everything and pentient. Thanks him give us many places to visit and the delicious resturants. I definitly will go back again if I am in Zazibar again. Highly recommand it.

The lodge was the perfect size and not overcrowded like you’ll find on the resorts. I’m not exaggerating when I say this, the food was FANTASTIC! All the seafood and veggies are sourced from local fishermen and farms. The pool is perfect and overlooks the Indian Ocean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
