Location was great, not too far of a drive for the day of arrival it placed us very close to our first activity on the following day. Poás Volcano and Bajos del Toro Blue Falls trail. The restaurant was great, we had a very tasty warm meal upon our arrival and breakfast was great. The whole facility was beautiful and well groomed. Staff were nice and extremely helpful. They helped us book online the tickets we needed while we used their computer.

The lodge is beautiful, set in the hills next to a rain forest. My room reminded me of log cabin but with a modern bath room. I loved sitting on my balcony with the beautiful landscaping of trees & flower plants. I would awake to see the sheep grazing on the hills. You can walk into a little forest to a running creek, very cool. All of the staff are wonderful, and the owner Ruben is great & very helpful letting me know all of the things to do in the area. And the breakfast & dinners are very good, they have an awesome chef. I will definitely be back to stay here again!!

Rooms are situated in nature and it is possible to see different animals even around the room. Access to trails is really one of the best things. We recommend taking a night tour with a guide. You will not get disappointed. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There is a big bathroom with a hot shower. All very clean. It is the best place to stay if you want to get in touch with nature.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. It was stunning. The rooms were more like apartments. The staff were wonderful. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
