The host Bassam was very very helpful, me and my son landed in Aswan at 6pm and had no transportation to Abu Simbel but Bassam arranged transportarion for a fair price. nice dinner was ready or us as soon we arrived to the location He also arranged a boat for us to take to the temple and then back to the hotel for breakfast as well as transporation to the Abu Simbel airport. so this is a host that goes above and beyond. the hotel itself is very unique and has a fabulous style.

Eskaleh Eco-Lodge is the place where to stay in Abu Simbel, it is almost a destination in its own. It is owned by a famous Nubian singer and it is the place to experience Nubian culture. The personnel is incredibly friendly, the restaurant is very good, the main building of the hotel is very nice, built in traditional Nubian style. Rooms are in separate bungalows also very nicely decorate, very well equipped and very comfortable. They also organised our transport by car from and to Aswan. Everything perfect.
We loved our stay in Safari Abu Simbel guest house! Our host, Hanny is just the best in town! He helped us since day one and took time with us! His house is really cute and made with love! We really recommend this place! Thank you again Hanny 😊🙏
The location is great, away from the noise in Aswan. Having breakfast with a view of Philae Temple is super. Room furniture is basic but has all one needs. Staff is friendly and correct. Kitchen at Eco Nubia served us the best food of our trip. Breakfast is local Nubian food, interesting and very tasty. Mohammed organized us a boat each time we wanted to leave / return to the lodge - flawless communication via Whatsapp. We loved our stay.
The Kabara House is an extremely nice place located not far away from the temples of Abu Simbel. The facility provides both good lodging and good food. The architecture of the place is unique. The staff is very helpful when it comes to logistics.
Beautiful large room (suite), view on the lake. Pool area is an instagram view and well designed. Service was quick and professional. Friendly and responsive staff. Very close to Abu Simbel temple (20 minutes walk). Hotel manager very helpful to organize local trips - i did a 4x4 desert safari to wadi el-sabua/Daka temples. Warmly recommend this hotel.
This place was a dream. Right from the room and the lodge, to the people, the food and the kittens. It was so nice to finally stay in a place which had good value for money, the staff were super nice and friendly and the food was beautiful. I am sad i missed out on the music the owner uses plays sometimes as he was away for a wedding.
This is not a standard lodge but a truly unique place (location + eco lodge) where you go for good reason. Then you can enjoy the experience. What a view! You are travelling back in time and can enjoy the light and sound of Philea temple almost as if in the place. Also very good food, but you must bring your own booze! No TV and no Internet fits with the place!
An absolutely gorgeous setting on an island about 300 meters across the water from Philae Temple, this Eco-lodge is built according to traditional Nubian methods with natural materials. The only exceptions are electric lights and plugs, and modern bathrooms. The kitchen offers a varied menu featuring the local cuisine, and the staff is warm, friendly, and proud of their heritage. This is a perfect place to come and relax, the longer the better!
