Morober there was lot of privacy. You are just in a different world!!!

Sorry we do not accept pets in our 3 person lodge or in the cottages. We do accept pets in all the other lodges. Lovely peaceful location, fantastic play parks for the children, hot tub an added bonus, beautiful sunsets.

We Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back again. The beds are so comfortable, there is so much storage space for luggage and the ensuite is perfect.

Everything was perfect, the location, the lodge were great. Rachael the owner went above and beyond for our visit. It was such a lovely quiet location. The lodges have absolutely everything one could need and are fitted to a high standard.

The Shepherds hut is situated in a beautiful village, but having it within castle ruins just makes any stay there magical. We found ourselves having a cuppa at any time of day just so we can sit and admire the castle grounds. Tasha, Pat and Oscar (their pooch) are wonderful hosts and are very welcoming, most notably Tasha makes an amazing lemon cake which we thought was a fantastic personal touch. Pat gave us a lovely tour around the grounds and allowed us to visit the sound room, which again was beautiful. We cannot express how amazing the location is, beautiful, magical, full of history and character and the sunshine is the icing on the cake. Thank you for a lovely time! Jonny and Fran
