A 12th-century castle, Kilkea Castle is one of the oldest inhabited castles in Ireland with a history dating back to 1180. Designated parking is available. Lovely grounds and gardens. Food was delicious. We were able to get a tee time after our arrival.

We stayed in the lodges which surprisingly were very spacious with private bathrooms in each bedroom and a spacious living room. There is rose gardens and a stream near the castle and lovely walks around the premises. We attended the spa for treatments and they were excellent and staff were very accommodating. Food was tasty and good service.

We attended a wedding at the castle. The location is spectacular. The lodges are an easy walk from the castle.

lovely secluded area with beautiful castle and lodges decor was lovely felt homely and remote so peaceful for all. staff were amazing , lovely and polite and helpful when needed! amazing spa!

Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely room in one of the lodges , with a spacious living/dining room with kitchenette, really quiet and very comfortable. Great breakfast and dinner at the club house with beautiful views of the castle. Lovely walks and surrounds..

Absolutely everything we will defo be returning. The lodges were spotless clean. The grounds are amazing to stroll around and the castle itself is magnificent order a drink in the keepbar and chill by the fire.
