The restaurant/kitchen staff and management were welcoming and made us feel incredibly relaxed. So much so I was close to tears sitting by the fire at night drinking the tastey red wine on offer. Our game driver Sibu was a legend! Knowledgeable and friendly and truly cares about the reserve and all the amazing wildlife. The feeling I had inside whilst at Zulu Rock Lodge is indescribable and the best experience of my life by far.

The views from Silverstreams Lodge and Cottages are breathtaking. This is a little slice of heaven with all the creature comforts you could wish for. Beautiful layout. The Lodge is really spacious and has all the luxury touches, The cottages, though smaller, have equally stunning views, thoughtful layout for comfort and leisure. Great wifi connection and DSTV for those who want it. We also had the most incredible, delicious breakfast buffet. But really it is all about the quiet, majestic beauty of the gorge. Truly spoiled.

Lions Valley Lodge is situated within the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, home to the Big Five as well as antelope and an abundant birdlife. The lodge features an infinity pool and free WiFi.

Offering a furnished deck, each of the free-standing suites at Lions Valley Lodge has a bedroom with a walk-in cupboard and a spacious lounge area. The open-plan bathrooms feature 2 baths, an indoor and an outdoor shower. Kindness of the staff. Very comfortable rooms. The fire place in the room as the weather was cold and rainy. The food was excellent. Quiet place. A certain intimacy as we are not too many poeple per main lodge. Our Ranger, Bianca, was absolutely awesome.

The pet-friendly lodge offers a barbecue. Great for dog. Beautiful view. Kayaking was relaxing. Walk along river was pleasant.

The staff were always willing to meet our needs, their service standards were on point and professional without losing that personal and friendly touch. We arrived as Guests and left as Friends without losing that sense of being a valued and cherished guest. Hospitality at it's Finest. Their safety standards and knowledge about every animal and creature on the reserve from the largest of the Big 5 right down to the Dung Beetle was superb. This was one of Our best life experiences and we can't wait to get back there again! Un-for-gettable...

Birches Cottage & the Willows Garden Room is situated on a gravel road, 5 km from the vilage of Underberg. The estate offers nature trails, riverside pools, picnic spots, decks and viewing areas.

The self-catering One-Bedroom Cottage offer a fully equipped kitchenette while the Deluxe Room is fitted with a microwave and fridge. Both units have a private bathroom and a garden veranda. Lots of information provided before arrival and then when we got there.

Located 27 km from Ladysmith, Cheetah Ridge Lodge is situated within the Big 5 Nambiti Private Game Reserve, which boasts the Big 5 with a variety of other species and amazing birdlife. This property features a garden and a pool. Very attentive and friendly staff - a lovely experience! Our game guide, Colin, made sure we saw all the Big six (included hippos) plus many other animals, while providing lots of interesting facts, and hosting tasty morning-risers and sun-downers. Beautiful and comfortable accommodations. Lots of care and lots of special “extras” - we were well taken care of.
