We did not eat breakfast. Location was ok but a bit of a walk for restaurants, pubs, or entertainment. Clean. The spa was wonderful. Needed after a couple of rough travel days. With free WiFi, this 4-star motel offers luggage storage space. Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a mountain view. We were given a free upgrade to an access room on the ground floor. Huge rooms and very well appointed. Bathroom had spa bath. Kitchen had everything and a full sized fridge. Beds were super comfy and I even liked the pillows :) Great location for walking along the river or up to the "Centre of NZ" as well as several other walks. 5 minutes to Countdown. Didn't actually walk into the city centre, but I know it was close as was the Suter Gallery and Queens Gardens. Fabulous hotel, great location.
