The suites are on the top floor accessed via 100 steps or "the first registered lift" in Palermo! The ladies at reception were lovely & arranged a transfer to the airport for me. There were city maps ( not all places provide these ) and other info available & a great collection of books to browse through re: sights of Palermo. Breakfast outside on the terrace was amazing with a vast choice of drinks, sweet & savoury items which was individually prepared for you.

This property is located a short distance from attractions such as Casa di Verga, Teatro Romano Catania, and Ursino Castle. Free WiFi is available. Sleep Inn provides beautiful, clean, and value-for-money accommodation in a charming old building with a great central location. Alessandra was very helpful and made the check-in process very easy, we arrived earlier than the normal check-in time, which was not a problem. The bedroom & bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. Due to the age of the building and its location in the city of Catania, it is impossible to block out all the noise but in my opinion, the building's character and central location for sightseeing were a good compromise. Villa La Lumia B&B Suites & Apartments is housed in an elegant 19th-century building, located in Agrigento, just 1 km from the Valley of the Temples. It offers free WiFi throughout and free private parking. Absolutely stunning views. Their website raves about their garden which I assumed was just filler. It was not. It’s incredible. The staff was great, even adjusting to our vegetarian needs on the fly (during dinner). Do yourself a favor and plan an extra day here to just slow down and enjoy nature.

I really like the breakfast, the location was good, not too much in the tourist area but perfect to reach cool places and the center. The room looked great and the view was nice.

Palermo Port, where ferries depart for Cagliari and Naples, is a 10-minute walk away. Palermo Cathedral is 1.6 km from the hotel. Beautiful antique hotel, luxury at its best, the best breakfast ever!!!! not usually within my budget but I dont regret it
