The interior is a bit dated - especially the bathrooms - but the rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable and I had a nice balcony. The room was clean and the breakfast had everything you could wish for. The best thing was the owner though. He was super friendly and accommodating.

Offering an outdoor pool and children's playground, Hotel Hofer is situated in Strass im Attergau, 3 km from Lake Attersee and 35 km from Salzburg. The hotel sits on a green hill and enjoys a breathtaking, first-row view of the valley below and of the lake - especially from the generous terrace used for breakfasts and dinners. Our 3-night stay was absolutely great. We felt welcome right away as we were so lucky to get upgraded to a family suite with view on the lake by the management. So did our dog who stayed with us and enjoyed the green, pristine hills surrounding the hotel, to the point of meeting - and chasing - a deer on her first walk at our arrival. The hotel management seems family-run and was exceptionally friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied. Altogether an amazing value for the money! The Attersee lake - just a few minutes drive - with its clear, turquoise waters and green, mountainous surroundings overwhelmed our senses. And so did the city of Salzburg just a 40min drive away. We can only recommend this hotel!

Hotel fajnie położony przy polu golfowym, spacerek 2 minuty. Do jeziora trzeba dojechać autem lub rowerem. Rower można wypożyczyć w hotelu a także kaski rowerowe. Parking przy hotelu. Znakomite śniadania oraz obiady jak ktoś wykupi lub menu z karty. Hotel posiada własną piwniczkę z winami. Polecam bo wina są wyborne :). Okolice przepiękne. Z hotelu widać Alpy i także jezioro z wyższych pięter. Jest winda więc bez problemów można dojechć na piętra. Pokoje czyste i codziennie sprzątane. Nasz pobyt był w tym hotelu był cudowny. Podziękowania dla całej rodziny hotelowej. Będziemy chcieli wrócić aby ponownie spędzić w hotelu Alpenblick urlop. Pozdrawiamy.

The view is great. Lake Attersee is the front view and the hillside with trees is the back view. There was a dusting of snow in the morning so the trees were beautiful. The Easter decorations were a nice touch.

Absolutely lovely relaxing place with georgeous views of lake Attersee and the surrounding mountains. We stayed in the new appartments which are modern but cozy, very spacious and with all equipment you might need. The breakfast was a good Austrian standard with nice variety of options, I especially recommend fried eggs. The owner is very friendly and speaks English. We were a family group with people from 30-80years old, and we all loved it! I can only recommend!

If you’d ask, what did i like about staying in “Strandhotel”, the most honest answer would be „Everything“. I really mean it. location, staff, cleanness, breakfasts, transport communication, preise. We were lucky to spend whole week in this paradise.

I liked that they have horses, ducks, bunnies, cats and a doggo. Love how friendly and helpful and accommodating the entire staff is. The host family is lovely! The location is beautiful, behind the mountains, so close to the lake Atersee...5min by car, Wolfgangsee is 26min by car and Mondsee also something like 28min by car. The breakfast is served buffet style and from the croissant to the omelette to the yogurt to the juice to the bread...oh the bread.....so so so good. The fruits as well, everything fresh and deliciously prepared. Very comfortable and cozy outside with the chairs and swings, me and Lucky sat there outside enjoying the nice weather and beautiful view. The beds are comfortable and the shower is ok, maybe a tiny tiny bit box would be great, but the shower pressure was good too....The bed was comfortable for me who like a bit more to softer side....was great I slept like a baby... The hotel is decorated in a very cozy and nice style. I forgot..the balcony has no light but is solved by leaving the bedroom light on...I loved everything about this hotel and I cannot wait to come again asap. Book early cus is always sold out...we got so lucky to get this hotel in high season for an affordable price.

The tent and compound were comfortably equipped, clean toilets, coffee stand, inside the tent the bed was very large and there was a refrigerator, blankets for sitting outside and a heater. The owner is very nice and readily available.
