The Schrannenhof is a lovingly restored, 15th-century town house in the centre of Klosterneuburg with excellent transport connections to Vienna. Hotel Schrannenhof offers free WiFi. My stay there was great, the breakfast was amazing, the staff was incredibly friendly and the room was perfectly clean! The building is from 1450 but the rooms, although renovated and modern, keep the same traditional mountain feel, so cosy! I can't wait to bring my family next time, totally recommend!

This traditional, family-run 4-star hotel enjoys a quiet location in Hinterbrühl in the Vienna Woods, only a 10-minute drive from Vienna’s city limits. We got a spacious room with a carpet on the floor, which was ideal for our baby to crawl and roll around. The bathroom and shower were spotlessly clean. Breakfast varied, many types of salami, cheese, vegetables, scrambled eggs, fruit, a selection of many coffees and teas. The staff is very helpful, friendly and nice. The ambience of the entire hotel is very pleasant with a modern touch. Parking is free around the hotel, WIFI also.

There was a self check in at the entrance to the hotel so we didn’t have to go to the reception. You use a code to enter the room, which we found great. Check out was also nog required, which was a great time saver. The location is very accessible - the first thing after you drive off the highway. The room was clean and a perfect size for two. Bed was comfortable and the shower was big. Great price for Vienna as well (85 eur per night).
