The room was beautifully decorated and very well equipped for sleeping, cooking, eating and relaxing. Jess was a great host and served up a super selection of freshly prepared fruit, pancakes and fritatas among other things for breakfast. She also prepared us smoothies to order all included in the price of the room. Wish we could have stayed another night!

The location was lovely and quiet, but still easy distance to shops and things to do. The hosts were lovely. Responding in good time to things we needed. Also, they gave us a lovely breakfast basket with fresh eggs, which was delicious! Within the first few minutes, we felt welcome and at home, which made our stay wonderfully comfortable. It was just perfect for what we needed.

The hospitality at Southern Star was lovely, it was so nice to have a mini break away in such a lovely location. We were truly able to unwind and appreciate all the offerings. I wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend this glamping experience to anyone.

A real treat. Felt like home. We enjoyed everything: the spacious rooms, the comforable beds, the spa, the lush garden and the birdlife, the lovely breakfast... - and on top of all: our host's hospitality. Very reasonably priced, though.
